    Hi,

I ordered this one yesterday: Clicky

    It's a basal thermometer, chart, 10 x Ovulation tests & 10 Pregnancy tests for £3.99 & £2.00 P&P from Amazon.

I spent ages looking for a good one, and this has great reviews.
I noticed that the BabyMad brand didn't get great marks. A lot of people said they gave very inaccurate readings...

    HTH xx

Oh poo... I think I ordered the BabyMad one earlier:o Didn't think of reading reviews :(

I blame you for not posting before I ordered!:p:p;)

    My Fault :doh:really really sorry!!!

Thats ok love, you're forgiven :p

Look, I know Ive lost my job - dont need to lose my testing date as well.....lol. I'm only teasing ;)

I wrote a really long post last night before I went to bed, and it got lost  Anyways, the summary was I hope I get my money owed - but I know the financial state of the company is not good. I work(ed?) in the security industry so will stick with it as they like females there as they're under-represented. And I also said, that the month I get made redundant and so lose an employer to pay Maternity Pay, is the month I get my BFP :D (that would be a nice turn of events though, so I wouldn't mind at all.

I have noticed this month though that I've had crampy type pains. Not nearly as painful as AF pains, but defiite cramping. And right now, I have a godawful stitch like pain under my right rib, but don't think thats ttc related. Done 2 FR tests already and both BFNs, so lets see what Tuesday brings.

Hope everyone is well and enjoying their Bank Hol weekend. Hugs and sticky baby dust to all x

MV - How are things progressing with you? Have you been to the doctors yet?
  • 3 hours of Jiggy was knackering tbh but I did sleep like a baby that night:rotfl: Besides there was nothing good on telly, no films we wanted to watch and couldn't agree which game to play so it was really the only option:rotfl::rotfl:

Love it! That's bound to have done the trick :D

    Dont we all darlin ;)

Hi gratefulforhelp  fingers crossed for a new batch of flybabies :D

Hi MV...not having a great day today. One of my friends died yesterday...cancer, !!!!!! disease that it is. She was only 62 and the loveliest person you could meet. I need to stop crying as I'm picking OH up from the pub soon.

And is it just me or is everyone else in the world pregnant? Every f e c king phone call I seem to get at the moment is to tell me about a pregnancy *sigh* The best one was this morning when Mum told me about her friends son. His partner is pregnant. Mum was really surprised as they had split up on Christmas Day, but hey, that was last week :rolleyes: Mum reckons some people just like a little drama in their lives ;)

But...I am going to be positive. I reckon I'm at my most fertile today, tomorrow and Monday (well, according to FF). So depending on what state OH is in when I pick him up, we shall hopefully be doing some jiggy. I think 3 hours is probably pushing it, but there is always the morning. And I have created a blog. I'm feeling very smug with myself about that. I have decided to join in the 'cook something different' challenge but instead of posting I will be blogging :D Tonight's dinner is 'Warm salad of red cabbage, black pudding and appple.' I suppose I better crack on with it :D

Sammy - I'm so sorry, I forgot to say about your job earlier. Please seek advice from the CAB. There are forms that you fill in and submit. One of my cousins was in the same situation. Her employers did a runner and fled the country, owing amongst others, £30,000 to British Gas :eek::eek: I wont be in the CAB for a couple of weeks, so I cant check and obviously I'm in Scotland and we may do things differently here, but it will be similiar.
  • Evening Sammy :) - things seem to be going well so far (touch wood!)

I went to see the dr on Wednesday and she basically just said that she would write to the hospital and I should wait for a referral letter to see a midwife. It looks like I am 5 weeks preg.

Of course until you have your first scan I guess anything can happen, so trying not to get too excited (hard though!), and also trying to ready myself for work on monday. I have a stressful job which has really been getting me down the last few months, but I'm going to have to be firm with myself and try to remain calm. As OH says, compared to the pregnancy, work really isn't important or worth getting myself stressed over.

I don't really feel any symptoms yet apart from very tired and a bit crampy from time to time..no sickness or sore boobs yet.

It's all exciting/scary in equal proportions!

I've told my 2 closest friends and our immediate family, but that's it for now.

    Thanks for asking :)

You don't even take him seriously,

  • Really sorry to hear about your friend ScotsLass. How sad, cancer is such a hateful disease.

Hopefully you'll get your BFP very soon and it'll be you telling people! Make sure you jump on Mr Scots when he gets in, that's what I did with my OH (whether he liked it or not!!) and I'm pretty sure that was the day we conceived!!

  • Thanks MV...it would be so lovely if we conceived this month. My due date would be DD's 17th birthday :eek::eek: (not that I'm obsessed with dates or anything lol)

    She would love that :D
  • wow there's an age gap!!!

I'll keep everything crossed for you for a BFP this month!

Thanks SSL- I think I just need to keep my chin up. My mum managed a CAB for years before she retired so she always giving me advice lol. I am so so sorry to hear about your friend. Thats awful news, please make sure you give yourself time to grieve.

MV - I am genuinely excited for you. I would agree with your OH, at the end of the day you are working for money, its not worth getting stressed over. I know that you tested early and got your TLP and BFP. Did you get any symptons at all?
