Ah Courgette-didnt realise you had a bfp.
Holding thumbs for you MV I was also only due af on christmas eve but Ive been temping and using the cbfm. After ov my temps got really high and about 8dpo there was a big drop, followed by more increase. A friend of mine was helping me with my charts and said I could test from today but I couldnt wait-clearblue digi came up immediately. I must say Im a bit ticked though because for such an expensive piece of kit, the result disappeared really quickly. I still have my little two liner from ds and thats almost 4 years ago!
And congrats Penny.
Ellibobs I might just cross post for a bit-I dont want to jinx it by thinking Im not "properly pregnant" nor by just assuming Im in the clear (does that make sense?)
So I'll mostly lurk and post the odd hello and perhaps if I have some constructive advice I can post that too.0 -
Polkadot.....I'm so pleased for you hun after what you went through before I will have my fingers virtually crossed until you get past where you did before and I will pray it's a sticky for you :T

What a flurry of BFPs the snow has brought in with it. Congratulations to you all.
I'm on 2ww, but reckon you can pretty much count me out this month as we didn't bd nearly enough. Feeling rather demotivated these last couple of months as been waiting for the line on the ov sticks that never appearsWe Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
Congratulations on the bfp's Penny and Polka, I hope you both have a happy and healthy 8 months! :T:T:T
Well I'm feeling even more Christmassy now as have just made my marzipan and marzipanned the cake! By the way to those of you lucky ones with a bfp steer clear of Christmas cake with homemade marzipan as it contains raw egg! As that's not me I shall be enjoying every mouthful! :rotfl:0 -
Good point Becs and Im very impressed you made your own marzipan. Just to let you know thought, Dr Oetkers Sugarpaste has no raw egg (all others do) so you could get away with a buttercreamed sponge and some sugarpaste...as I am. Just cant pass up the chance to put another pc on my profile...although Im only doing a 6"0

Congrats to all the BFP's what a good month Dec is turning into.
According to mmc i won't ov until 4th Jan so a bit of a wait for me, but it my anniversary coming up in a week so i am sure we will get some practice.
I am starting to get excited about xmas also just have 2 more days of work before a 2 week break!!
My baby neice (6 months) has come down for xmas and it is lovely having a baby around but just makes me realise how much i want to continue ttc.
Please can i be added to the testing list according to mmc af is due 18th so is that the date i put down or a few days later?

Hi guys. Wow. So many BFPs and TLPs. I really, really want to be happy for you guys and I really am. But the inner green eyed monster is stamping her feet screaming "Why cant it be me?" Never realised what a witch I can be.
Not sure what's going on here. OH has since mentioned what school he wants the (nonexistent) kids to go to, so not sure whether he meant he doesn't want to try right now, or whether he means ever. Trouble is, I'm not getting any younger and with each day I feel my chances slipping away. I'm 95% sure that we haven't done it this month, and knowing that so many others have done it, and it could be my last chance for a while is making me feel really low.
Never mind. I'll get over it. I'm sorry for being so evil. I am truly happy for each and every one of you ladies.0 -
Afternoon all
I know I've been MIA for ages, sorry!
Congratulations to all of you with the BFPs!! I'm so pleased for you all. What a lovely Christmas for you all
I'm struggling a bit with PMA at the moment. I just feel its not going to happenAF due on Wednesday and I'm sure she'll turn up sooner rather than later
Anyway, that's kinda why I've not been about. Dont want to depress the thread
SSL xx
PS Hi Rach  good to see you0 -

Ah Ladies struggling with the pma at the mo, there's a lot of us there at the mo or have been recently. It is/can be very hard to see bfp's on here particually when they always seem to come in waves! But please remember there are far more of us on this thread without bfp's than there are with so there are many of us in exactly the same boat. I'm sure most of the ladies with bfp's have been in exactly the same boat as us at some stage. I know it can be very hurtful to see someone come on and get a bfp straight away or within a couple of months of trying particually when there are several of us on here who are now counting the years rather than weeks! Thankfully the ladies with bfp's know this and understand fully. We are only human and nobody likes to feel the green eyed monster but don't feel guilty because it can't be helped. Some on here have had much rougher rides on this journey than others and whilst it can seem like salt in the wound it isn't deliberate. We need to post more about our feelings when there are bfp's rather than run and hide because there are lots of us feeling exactly the same and the whole point of this thread is for us to offer advice and support to each other on our journeys howver long they may take us.0
