  • Hi
I posted a while back as we have been trying for a baby for some time. I now appear to be pregnant (found out Tuesday with home test 5 days before AF & have 2 other positives since) but worried as since last night I have been spotting. Is this the right thread to ask about this sort of thing or can I be pointed to the right one.
    Thanks
  • Want2bme you may get some answers from this thread as some as us (unfortunately) have got a BFP and then it not stayed sticky - however for another opinion try the pregnancy thread as spotting can be common in pregnancy. It could depend on what colour it is and if you have cramps. I think light pinkish/brown spotting is OK but if it turns red with clots and cramping could be bad news but I'm not an expert . . it may be worth getting a docs appointment tomorrow to check this out.

All the best hope things turn out OK.

Thanks Lauralou I hope so too but getting pre AF symptoms - sore boobs etc but if not this time maybe in time for the new year, trying not to get too upset about it. Anyway think I will try and wait to test until Friday if AF hasn't arrived.

Sounds bad about AF, must be confusing for you and annoying. Hope she goes away for good soon and get back to bding! Good luck with diploma work too.

Is there a particular reason you're eating them? Not sure I've actually ever had yam but I bet making a soup out of them with a nice warm chilli base would work. Do they have some baby-giving magic I should know about?
    Updating soon...

its actually cassava roots im after but yams meant to be ok, it apparentley helps with concieving twins :D that and dairy products, beef and folic acid.

tapico is meant to have cassava in so am going to look up some recipes for that too.

yam you can get from fruit and veg shops but cassava is harder to find am going to try the market this week and some carriebean shops or something

  • Forgot to add noticed this at tesco's when doing my weekly shop, seems to be good value as other opks are around double this price.
