  • Som – no tips, just massage quite firmly, I did more regularly than for long periods of time as I found it quite uncomfy. It could be that I’m just saggy that I didn’t tear!! This sprout will certainly be testing my theory! Did you manage to get back to sleep?
Kindof – Glad you’re not worried, as you say what will be will be and in the end you'll have a gorgeous bubba :)
My other tip for my bigger babies is get on all fours! :p You’re not pushing up hill then lol! But in the end everyone’s experience is individual, no birth is the same and we all in the end get through it! I was reading in one of the baby mags last night about a lady that delivered and had no pain wotsoever – Very very lucky lady!!!!!
Tripled up on pancake mixture, but between my DS, DD and OH they ate the lot and I had some Ainsley Risotto – lovely though it was, I wanted pancakes!!!! Amazing how as mums we are so unselfish :A – although I’m thinking shall I make some more for breakfast?!!:rotfl:
Was quite interesting watching One Born last night – but I was positively silent with my two in comparison but I suppose we all have different pain thresholds and ways of dealing with it. I know the m/w’s I work have to deal with quite aggressive and abusive ladies but they get used to it to a certain extent.
    Any news on Nikkit?:)
Very wet here today, hope everyone has slept well x
DS 17 years :)DD 16 years DS 5 years
    Busy working mum spinning plates!

    14lbs to a stone...owch!

22 weeks today and had my GP check, I think I prefer the MW, she was a bit more thorough. Don't see anyone til 29 weeks now - seems ages away (wound up 2 weeks later because of the way the clinic works at our surgery). Heartbeat, blood pressure, urine, measurements et al were fine so I'm happy enough - still loads of weird aches and pains though. This baby growing business isn't always comfortable!

Ouch indeed lol, I can't believe I had to ask that question I totally knew that answer lol

I felt like that, cos I saw MW at 16 weeks, then had 20 week scan at hospital but didnt see any MW's or anything, then next time I was at MW was 25 so I was like what, 9 weeks inbetween thats so long lol

MLSIL - Crap lol I didnt think of that lol its too late now :(

LOL gymfiend I hope he doesnt drop out lol

Barkingsavingsmad - Ive often wondered about birthing positions and I know all fours is a good one for gravity but I cant help but feel embarrased by that position I dont know why :(

No news on Nikkit yet, hopefully she is getting mammy cuddles :)

I have nothing planned for today, I am slightly bored already :(

  • Hi ladies x
    Haven't been on in a while...having a few problems :(
I'm a complete mess atm and don't know what to do...
OH told me last night that he doesn't think we shouldn't be together as he can't stop thinking about a giril that he met on a rebound relationship that lasted 2 weeks. We had a break last yr and he went off, we got back together as we wanted to sort things and I love him dearly. He said she pops in his head all the time and that he thinks he loves her!? I feel sick :(

Wow, what a lovely guy he is! Do you know how the other girl feels about him? It could be that once he gets her, he'll find the grass isn't greener and try to come crawling back with him tail between his legs.
What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..
  • it was a brief fling that lasted no more than a couple of weeks. We both realised we wanted to get back and start afresh. He told the girl he didn't wanna know anymore. last night he said thatshe pops in his head and that he doesnt feel guilty for going off with her at the time. he's just been lying to me. I'm so down and don't know what to do :(

Oh SS you poor thing :( How awful. I'm not really sure what to say, other than what an idiot. My only other long term partner before OH left me for another girl because he was 'in love' with her, within 3 months of him going and being with her (after 4 years together), he was begging me to come back, turns out the grass isn't always greener. Do you think it could be this kind of situation, she's a bit exciting & a change from the norm? Has he left? Sorry if it seems like I'm prying, just trying to understand a bit more to see if I've any useful advice, (probably not, and feel free to tell me to butt out!)x

Kindof, spend the day on the sofa with the tv & some chocolate :D I've no plans today either, not til 4 anyway then off to my parents for dinner yum :j

BSM how lovely are you, I can't imagine ever becoming an unselfish mum
:rotfl: I always think it's amazing how my mum's so unselfish, even now we're grown up she gives us the best bits of everything and go without for us like if we have chicken she'll always give us the breast meat etc, haha I sound like such a baby! I hope I do end up like her :D

Som really hope you're sleeping, x

I feel like cr*p this morning, got a splitting headache and aching everywhere, not sleeping at all as I ache so badly and have to turn so regularly, but I keep turning into OH, which wakes us both, arrrrrgh. I kept trying to get up and go to the spare bed but he said if I did he'd just follow me as it feels so alien for me not to be there! Bless him for being so lovely but god, I really need some sleep.
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j
  • As hard as it will feel, I would back off and say go on then, go. Do you know this girl at all? And have they been contacting eachother since last summer?
