I want a bath but i dont want to risk it when im home alone.
Having a bit of trouble pulling myself up in the bath now, so at least if i bath when OH is home he can rescue me :D

Som - Are you finding baby is moving less now? Its seems Lily has run out of room and only gives me the occasional wiggle and/or kick, she mainly sticks her bum up in the air though so i always have an odd shaped bump :rotfl:

I feel sad, i have had fantastic condition nails throughout this pregnancy and once she's born they will go back to being breakable :(
  • Well I've just discovered that my non stick frying pan defo does not qualify as non stick anymore!:rotfl:
Managed to get 3 pancakes out of it for dd and me before it became one charred mess.Ho hum.
Guinea,I'm ok thank you.Although I am looking forward to getting madam out now!lol

I think I worked out why my tum is so so sore at the bottom,I think I've pulled all the muscles from coughing. The penny drops at last.
    Congrats to Nozza!!!
Well thanks to all for confirming what I suspected, mil is a tad odd, bless her.:D

Nikkit Good luck,I have a inkling that this is the real deal this time!

Kindof don't panic,my dd was 8lb 14oz and it was fine.Infact I've heard from a lot of midwifes that giving birth to a heavier baby is easier and less work is needed to push baby out as gravity plays a part app ;)

can't wait for one born every min tonight, that guy was so annoying last wk!

Anyway jellybean looks fab, no abnormalities, strong heartbeat etc - just one thankfully!!! Booked my cervical stitch in for 22nd March and a week in hospital to rest.

    Hi All

I posted when I was about 5/6 weeks pregnant but joined the 'less than 12 weeks' thread, I am now 14+4 weeks changing my EDD to 15th August. I've had my 1st scan last week and everything seemed fine. Cannot wait until August!!!

    Hope your all ok!

EA - baby girls movements are deffunatley more subtle now more wriggles and stretches than kicks. Oh and the bum sticking out thing all the time! I wouldn't have a bath without OH, I struggled to get out too lol. Eek about the cracker, hope it didnt make too much mess! And my nailks are growing fast too but seem to have gotten thinner recently.

Twinkles - my pan only managed 3 pancakes too before killing the 4th and last of the mix! I really wanted another as OH had two first leaving me with one, but just couldnt be bothered. Had it with golden syrup and ice cream Mmmm :D Hope the pain goes away soon if thats what caused it.

Nitha - yeay for scan :D but wow only 9 weeks!

Well wont be watching One Born Every Minute after all as OH has footie :( major sulk, gonna stuff my face with chocolate to console my self lol.

    kindo,
Thats good news everythings ok :j8 pounds

Ive never been measured what do they do?

OH's dad is coming around to look at the boiler :T i can cope without heat but not without hot water:eek:

I know, lol but i've heard you take after your mam (Ive heard many things lol) and she had a 9 pound 15 baby and I was 8 pound 6 so I never expected a small baby lol

They measure you with a tape measure from your pubic bone to top of your uterus, and you should be in cm about the amount of weeks you are, therefore I should have been 37cm but I was 39cm

Oh god no I need my bath every night I would die without hot water, although I am finding it hard to haul myself out of the bath at the minute so I may have to go to shower

EA I know, I am hoping he doesnt grow too much more lol

Stupid question but how many pounds would it take for a stone baby?

Thanks barkingsavingmad I am not too nervous about it lol he's gonna be as big as he wants I guess *gulp*

EA LOL thats funny cos I cant reach either lol

I cant watch that programme cos Sky Plus only lets you watch (record) two things and I already have two recorded

    YAY Guinea :) thats great

Som I know I think it was her face and her hmm at least 8 pounds that got me lol

EA I think Elliot is moving less as well but he does like digging into me with his foot lol

YAy for your scan going well Nitha :)

And Yay to you too kitkat :)

Well my pancakes sucked, I didnt like them at all, I was totally gutted cos I was looking forward to them!

    14lbs to a stone...owch!

22 weeks today and had my GP check, I think I prefer the MW, she was a bit more thorough. Don't see anyone til 29 weeks now - seems ages away (wound up 2 weeks later because of the way the clinic works at our surgery). Heartbeat, blood pressure, urine, measurements et al were fine so I'm happy enough - still loads of weird aches and pains though. This baby growing business isn't always comfortable!

    What about Channel 4 +1 on channel 135 starts at 10pm ??

p.s. midwife told me size of baby doesn't really matter, the head is the same size whatever the babies weight and it's the most solid/hardest to get out
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:

    Evening all,

    Hope everyone is ok?

Kindof, glad the midwife was good :D & 8lbs is a good weight, they reckon mine will be around 9, not suprising given I was 8lb 11 and my mum's a foot shorter than me!

Glad your docs was ok too Esio :D Do you not get a 24 (I think?) week appointment for the HIPG/MatB1?

Congrats on the magical 12 weeks (or 14+4 in your case!) Kitkat :)

Nitha - glad all was well with the scan & welcome :D

Nikkit, really hope you're cuddling the little man right now!

Guinea good news on baby being engaged :D

LMF your dog is lovely :)

CAFC hope the move has gone well, x

The girl in the pink on one born every minute seems a right pillock, really hope I'm not that embarassing/rude during labour!

Took my little sis & her best friend ice skating today then for lunch - bought them loads of stuff from Claire's Accessories which they loved, lovely day :) Had a long walk into town with them and back again in a bid to get baby moving down, so uncomfortable though it's unreal, I swear he's going to drop out soon!!!
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j
