    Congrats Kavinam :j

Wow Kindof, you're not planning to go out til next Feb? Another strike against me on the bad mummy front, I've got a babysitter lined up for my bday at the end of March :o

Som hope you're having a lovely girly shopping day & the crutches aren't causing too much hassle. Well done to the OH for packing his bag too :T We're hoping to go to Italy on holiday, somewhere in the Lakes region...we think it's a good compromise of being luxury and lovely for a honeymoon but close enough & modern/sanitary enough to be ok for baby, just waiting for him to show his face now so we can book :D

Yorky - think you've already got the answer on heartburn but just a thought, I find certain things cause me to get it, bread, cake & similar, so by eliminating I don't need to take anything, worth trying to see what gives you it :o (hopefully not everything!)

    Labour vibes for Twink :D

Just picked up my copied pics - they're brilliant! They're of OH & his family when they were tiny, I'm going to get a couple made into canvas for his twin brother for their 30th this year, think it'll make a nice present :D & just doctoring a couple of them in photoshop now so I can get prints made for babies room. We've got one of OH and one of his Dad on the beach at the same age and they're the spitting image of each other, it'll be brilliant to do one of baby when he gets to that age so there's 3 generations of them in the same pose :D Also picked up the clock which looks fab, it's this one & fits right in with the bright theme, v pleased :D Feeling so motivated I might even go and pack my hospital bag :rotfl:

eta: Going for a curry with my best friend tonight - aswell as having eaten pineapple for breakfast and am drinking RLT like there's no tomorrow, woohoo for baby eviction :T:T

Congratulations to SJ also. Is there any pictures of the little man I have not had a catch up yet.

It strange SJ we both joined this forum on the same day and we both had the same due date at the start before mine was changed, and then we have our beautiful babies on the same day too.

I had a wonderful birth, it was an amazing experience. Second stage of labour lasted 50min and 3rd was 5min. I only have 1 stitch from a 1st degree tear and a minor graze.

Erin is breast feeding really well and is up to 6lbs 2oz already.

Thank you to everyone for the congratulations.

She came 4 days early weighing 5lbs 14oz and is absolutely gorgeous.

Ive not felt really good today, All of a sudden at 12 I got all hot and I mean sweating to death and feeling sick, the only thing I could think of was to go to bed, open all the windows in the bedroom and try and sleep it off

Hi, congratulations to Kavinam, and plenty of vibes to those who need 'em! I found my bump band at Topshop in York, it was £5, and I love it. There's only Dotty Ps sell any kind of maternity stuff here in Scarborough, so it might just be the bigger stores (gonna assume Oxford's better for shopping than here) I've only got a teeny 'bump' so far, but it's big enough that my trousers don't fasten, with the band, you really can't tell they're undone at all.

Oh no Kindof, hope you're feeling better soon :( Has the HV been? I've been ringing for a few days to try and rearrange my appointment to no avail still, eurgh. Glad you've going out before next Valentines, I was starting to feel like a horrid mummy!!

Woohoo for this being your last week at work Redstar :D Do you finish this Friday?

Did you buy anything exciting Nikkit? I got a mega cute giraffe toy in Ikea the other day for about £2 :D

I'm done fiddling with the photos and have sent off my order for them so babys room will be totally done once they're back, framed and up, wahoo! Well, aside from bedding...must think on that one. Mothercare had some gorgeous bedding in by Myleene Klass but it's so overpriced!

I'm feeling so tired and sicky today :(

Took DS clothes shopping this morning and had sneaky looks at baby clothes;)

Soooo these bump band thingies... am I correct in thinking you can have the button undone on jeans for example and the band goes OVER the top to cover up the zip and button area?? I can't remember them being around when I was pg with DS.
