Guinea - without being able to see your car seat in person its hard to say if its fitted correctly! so taking it along to your local MC is a fab idea. I will say tho that unless you have a base (I know the spin doesnt) then any infant carrier type car seat will appear loose especially when rocked side to side as they rely on the inertia real in the seat belt to lock and there fore hold them in place.

Xmas - yup bag for OH, tho I kinda got a lil upset at him last night (well he went on at me to get mine done at 36 weeks so I was prepared!) and he did get around to packing one. Just need to buy some drinks for him now. He packed spare T shirt and underwear and minimal toiletries to freshen up, some snacks, change for car park and a magazine I think. My DS is already packed and am sure he'll make use of that.

gym - where are you planning on going on hol, I cant wait to take lil girl away for the first time :D I think OH wants to go to Devon or Cornwall but thats a long drive with furr ball too!

Congrats on hitting the 37 week mark :)

Big labour vibes for all who need or want them xxx Off for possibly my last girly shopping trip today with my best friend. I dont really need anything (or have the money) but she goes on holiday on Friday and thought it was a good excuse to get out of the house (havent left since friday!) and spend some time with her. No other reason to leave the house till Friday now...eek!

  • Does anyone know which shops sell reasonably priced ‘bump bands’ for pregnancy? These are the things I’m talking about:

    http://www.mamafeelsgood.com/productimages/large/maternity_and_nursing_bump_band_black1_419.jpg

I live in Oxford and I’ve been to M&S, BHS, Debenhams and Primark and can’t find anything that resembles this. Actually, maternity clothes in Oxford are very hard to come by…unless I’m just looking in the wrong places.

Also...I'm 20 weeks this week wahoO!
  • Sidekick I got mine off ebay and ut wasnt expensive, I'll see if I can find the link
