For those of you suffering with sore cracked lips I have found a cure for mine! I suffer with bad, dry, cracked lips every winter, and when I'm preg it's even worse. After DD was born however I heard someone say about using lansinoh nipple cream. It is brilliant. It heals mine over night. I pick any bad bits off (gross but I cannot help myself as they are so uncomfy) then I smother them with the lansinoh, a little bit goes a long way but I like them to be thick with it so it lasts all night. Then next day they are 100% better. You can ask for free samples from MW/ HV etc and you get a little sachet.

EA- I went on hols in this country (just a cheap static down n Devon) when DD was 4 weeks old. I found it soooo much easier travelling when she was tiny as they are so portable. The drive took quite a while as I live 4 hours away anyway, and with extra stops it did take a while, but once there was fine. We stayed a week and I mainly sat on the beach with DD attached to the breast, while DH brought me pasties and ice creams :D Best holiday ever! When we went back to the same place year after she was running all over the place and there was no relaxing with ice cream for us! :)
  • Hey ladies,
Sorry not posted for a while.
    Wow,congrats lots of newbies:j

Girls- if you have sore/cracked lips now get plastering them in vaseline cos if you plan on having gas and air in labour that makes your lips sooooo dry and sore:(

    Sonnee sorry about sh*& consultant-what a cow:mad:

Am watching got to dance on sky 1- how good are those kids???
DH and I went out to dinner at ASK last night :p so lush BUT FIL let kids stay up so late they have been a nightmare today so after got to dance they are ALL going to bed! and DH and I have got Invention of lying to watch on blu-ray:j

So gald it's half term now and no early morning school runs but just hope kids wake up in a better mood tomorrow,DH has tom and tues off though and we get new car on weds so should be a good week.

EA- can I officially send you some labour vibes then ?

Nikki- you obv have a v comfy babe but hope this latest show is THE sign:)

On the earlier subject of DTD:o I seem to have the opposite problem and although I am exhausted all the time my libido just seems to have gone through the roof, just wish it wasn't so clumsy :rotfl:

    KO Pizzas looked yum-well done!

    Enjoy your Valentines evening.

fernlie/choccy - my lips are actually splitting on the underside so no way I can put anything on them :( but saying that it heals really fast. Its never happened before pg and I do use a good lipsalve normally which is why my outter lips are ok. Its odd!

EA - I really love the idea of centre parks but its so expensive! How did you find that price? Was thinking of going to Haven maybe collect the vouchers from one of the papers.

Am so lucky my OH doesnt really play on his comp all that much, he goes thru phases tho! Tho we only have a Wii and PC.

Off to town with besty tomorrow, will be intresting to see how I manage on crutches! She has MOCs for subway too :D
