That's mad - I used to work in a call centre and they were a bit anal (and this was a bank), but nowhere near that bad! They let me do my uni work at the desk and although phones were frowned upon they didn't really care. You should have Lily in their offices, maybe you'd be entitled to free Sky forever, kinda like doing it in Asda? :rotfl:

Thankfully OHs work are ok-ish, though he's forever in day long meetings & having to go down south (I think, Milton Keynes - that's south, right?!) so could be a problem potentially! Hadn't really thought about this til you mentioned your OH, doh, will have to ask my OH about it tonight, check his diary too!
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

We're not allowed paper and pens in the office, if we have college work to do they say to do it on the pc, but we're not allowed to print. And we dont have email so we cant email it home to print.. Sillys.
Its the same with books, we might write down customer details..

The thing is, we dont use the system that customers details are stored on, we use a completly different one that cant store anything

Haha, well i dont think i'd get free sky, as its not an official sky call centre, sky are a client of the call centre (they are called 'The Listening Company) and we work for TLC working for sky. If that makes sense?

OMG, last night i was in bed and i woke up to get a drink and heard to people arguing, it was so clear. I listened to make sure it wasn't next door, but i could clearly hear it was in our house. I !!!!!! myself and woke OH up to go and see and it was the TV! lol. When i turned the tv off last night i forgot to turn off the speakers and the channel went back on air at 4am (when i woke up) and was playing the programme through the speakers :rotfl::o:o

Yeah MK is south, thats where Butlins is :D

    Ok
So I haven't really been posting here and have only just realised that you have to add yourself to the EDD list (such an idiot!) but I have been reading every day.

I was due yesterday and now I'm really fed up!!! Was induced with my first 1 day over cause my BP was up and he was born by emergency section 2 days later so I felt as though the whole thing was out of my hands and this time is my first time if that makes sense.

Really want this pregnancy over with now so I can get on with looking after my 18 month old and the new baby rather than hanging around waiting!!

    Sorry - rant over!!

    xx

Oh i forgot to say, will prob be on most of the night. OH is working until 11pm *sob*

Work have put him on lates until my due date  And he's not allowed to have his phone on either, so if i go into labour and he's at work i cant call him. The work phone is only an answerphone they check once in the morning.

So if i go into labour and cant reach him i will call my dad and get him to drive me into work (as i have an access pass) and i will leak waters on their floor until they release him :rotfl:

Thats crazy!!! makes me realise how lucky we are, OH's bosses are being great, theyve agreed the Paternity can start as soon as I am home, and he is allowed to visit me in hospital in the afternoons for however long I am there, and of course can leave work as soon I need him too when I am in labour

Awww Gymfiend sorry you are in so much pain, I think you are going to go so early!!! I feel like Elliot has moved down but dont know how much

Not really, she asked questions left a book from birth to age oe 5, she basically asked about mine and OH's health, if we smoke, she asked how our childhoods were? how we found school? have we got family close by

Then she expained that they are there as much or as little as we want, they will come out the house when baby is like 11 days old and weigh him etc, and I can choose for them to keep coming here or if I feel up to It I can take bean to the clinic (which I will do once I can be arsed to leave the house lol)

Beany is running out of space argh lol

We just had spag bol and we used asda own spag bol sauce insread of dolmio and it was so nice

    Anyone esle having pancakces tomorrow?

Nope, i hate pancakes soooo much and OH is doing another 12:30-11pm shift :(

I'll make him some on Wednesday though :D

Just put my dinner in the oven, im having Faggots with mash and veg, noms :)

Faggots take 45mins to cook though and im starving!
I did have half a bag of skittles but they made me feel sick. Infact everytime i have anything with sugar in i feel sick recently.

I might just give up on fizzy drinks and sweets for the time being :)

Lots of labour vibes for you Pokey, you sound fed up!x

Did HV tell you anything about what goes on locally for mums & babies Kindof? I'm hoping ours will do, really worried about being stuck indoors with baby by myself too much. I wish I was gonna go early, really doubt it though, totally convinced he's gonna arrived a little bit late (mum dreamt that my grandma said he'd arrive March 9th, so I've convinced myself of that?!)

Paternity leave is ok @ OHs work, basically it starts as soon as he stops going to work so when I'm in labour. He's got a week booked off at the end of March too so might run into 3 weeks which would be great :D

I'm taking my little sis & her best friend ice skating tomorrow (I'm a spectator...fun!) then my sis is staying with me overnight & we're having pancakes :D With loads of ice cream & other junk, woohoo!

Always makes me laugh when people say they're having faggots, such a funny name for a food :D (I don't even know what they are btw!)

I'm starved, going out just after 7 to feed my face, wahoo!

eta: I want to make some felt birds, like this:

I tried not long ago and they were awful, wish I could just buy them!

EA - if you have a TK max near you they have gym balls for £6.99 atm, they vary in colour and size but are anti burst :D so you wont end up on your bum if they puncture. Yeay for dress and boo for comp peeps giving you false hope. Any news on the Tshirt from BB btw? Still not seen ours or heard from them :( Oh and work is so rude you would think they could make an exception!

Kindof - pleased to hear your feeling better :D Just browsing thru Haven brochure but think were gonna leave it till next year when lil one will be 18 months and probably enjoy it more. Mmmm to pancakes, have the stuff to make them but no toppings Hmm may have to send OH out to get something hehe. Oh and on the MK range at Mothercare the girls at work have now started refering to it as the My Kleene !!! range lol!

Gym - the pain is easing a lil now but am really stiff and feel like a lil old woman! Hope you can find bargains in Primark, I was just saying to OH how nice the PJs are and would have happily paid £7 full price for them cos there so snuggly. Want to wear them now but bump wont fit hehe.

Convent girl - yeay for the energy surge I had a mass clothing clear out just before Xmas and gained loads of room its so fab :D Took us ages to actually take it all to the charity shop tho, and eventually took it to the salvation army clothing bank at tesco hehe.

Having Lamb meatball kebabs with rice and veg for dinner, never had them before so hope there ok, were only £1 so thought I'd give 'em a go :D
Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpuls
