littlemissflower -eek! 43 weeks have never heard that before in UK! Do you have any kinda eviction plans? better have some timely labour vibes xx
kindof - its unusual for us to have savings too been really tightening our belt and saved as much as poss to buy baby stuff so now its all bought we were gonna use it as a back up. Luckily with IVA being suspended before I fin on full pay should be able to top it back up all going well, give us a safety net. Good luck with the Toad in the hole
EA - sorry your feeling so lonely, I know the feeling as have no family close by and only close friend has so many work and social commitments OH is really the only person I see unless we visit in laws, no one ever comes to usAs for the TV show, I figure they either have rooms without cameras or just dont film if permission is given cos they were uber busy on the labour ward that day and yet only featured two births.
SJ - milk has to come in at some point, hope its not causing you too many issues!
Gym - haircut went well thanks and is all neat again now, pleased with how she did my fringe too cos I didnt want it cutting short again atm just for easy of handling, so she just blended it in so looks more naturalAntenatal all done now, was all about feeding and pretty much a shortened version of the workshop I did last week with some bottle feeding stuff in there too.
Smartie - sorry you were upset at booking in appointment x
Barking - how big are you, hope its not big! Glad there taking care of you tho x
Ihategossips - dont think you have to go to Antenatal, I certainly wasnt made to as they were just drop in sessions, depends on if you want any info or if your happy with what you know?
Its cold here atm, but has been really sunny all day and then I get a shock when I go out cos expect it to be warmer, and stupid me only had on a tshirt and cardi!! Am hungry but tired and cant be arsed atm!Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Hi Som, well picture wise I posted me up a few pages back, actual size I'm 28 cm and meant to be between 25 and 26 cm at 25 weeks. Trying not to get in a tiz but I really don't want to go bigger than my last, my bits are in shreds already :rotfl:
Littlemissflower - I have to say it's very rare to let you go to 43 weeks (just work in admin in maternity) but I book ladies for chat with consultant at 40/41 weeks and they are usually booked for induction by 42 weeks, but I suppose each case is different and if you are being well looked after, kept an eye on and you're very healthy they would never put you at risk I'm sure
Ihategossips - welcome, you're very near my due date. I was given 21 May, they don't change this date unless you're more or less than 7 days in our department, I come up slightly different (6 days earlier) in scans, but it'll come when it comes. BTW girls not sure if mentioned but I'm not finding out what sex is - although its really really really hard not to!!!
FREEZING here - got the fire burning and I'll fire up my laptop and snuggle up with the dog in there I think.DS 17 yearsDD 16 years DS 5 years

Had my 25 weeks appointment today and as I thought I am large for dates - will probably have a scan at 34 weeks to decided how big is big etc! But although my last baby was 9-2, as I had no problems they may not induce me earlier. My BP was very low 80/40 so no wonder I've been feeling very light headedshe said it should start to go up now as it's down to pregnancy hormones and to drink lots - I'm a bit 'fik' although I work in mat department (adim) I don't really know why BP is low apart from suffering from Hyperemesis and being very poorly, also have pain low down in pelvis and water showed up leukocytes - I have to get tested for infection as apparently it doesn't always give you pain when you wee. So will take that off to hospital in the morning.
Anyhow off to light the fire as it's freeeeezing
My OH was like that lol, I recorded loads of births on tv, and he was ok after watching a couple but then had a little freak out lol and I was like I am pleased you had a mini freak out now lol and not when we are there lol
EA - I too thought 42 was the furtherst you could go as well? Awwww I am sure your nana will understand
ihategossips - WelcomeI found the breastfeeding one ok, I kinda knew most of the stuff already?
Waves hi three
Som thanksit was a success
OH loved it, he had never had one before lol I hope you manage to find something to eat, I am nomming on a mars bar lol

Im not sure the midwife knows what shes talking about as before i went in she kept coming out the room asking questions to the other midwife and then when i was with her i said when is my next appointment and she said 4 weeks:eek: i said but i will be 42 weeks:eek: anyway i got one for 2 weeks which still makes me 40+ 3 but thats not so bad.
I think induction at either 40+10, 40+12 or 42 weeks is standard on the NHS. According to Baby Centre only about 4% of pregnancies go over 42 weeks (I got to 42+1 though ), so it's very unlikely you'd make it to 43 weeks anyway. Very worrying that your MW didn't know though :DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
