Kindof... make sure you let midwife know about headache if it doesn't go. OK???;)

Congrats to SJ... someone let me know Alfie's name:D

I had booking in appointment this morning. Will be under care of a consultant so have to wait for an appointment for hospital and scan.

EDD 14th September although I have a feeling that will change.

I'm sure bump is growing by the day even though I'm only 9 weeks:eek: Didn't ask midwife to look at bump though as I wanted to go home as I was a bit upset by something.

    Maybe it's twins!!!;):rotfl:

  • Big hugs Smartie - was it the possible 'twins' shock?

Nikkit - thinking of you lots hun and can not wait to get your good news :j

I watched One born any minute with other half, who hasn't experienced being at a birth yet, although I've had two previously. I think he could possibly have pooped his pants, in a nervous excited way lol!!! :rotfl:I said well I actually did at one of mine, and they wrapped it up like fish n chips :rotfl:

Had my 25 weeks appointment today and as I thought I am large for dates - will probably have a scan at 34 weeks to decided how big is big etc! But although my last baby was 9-2, as I had no problems they may not induce me earlier. My BP was very low 80/40 so no wonder I've been feeling very light headed :p she said it should start to go up now as it's down to pregnancy hormones and to drink lots - I'm a bit 'fik' although I work in mat department (adim) I don't really know why BP is low apart from suffering from Hyperemesis and being very poorly, also have pain low down in pelvis and water showed up leukocytes - I have to get tested for infection as apparently it doesn't always give you pain when you wee. So will take that off to hospital in the morning.

Anyhow off to light the fire as it's freeeeezing

LMF- i thought that after 42 weeks there could be complications???
Ok i dont want to cause panic but my ipod app for 43 weeks says "you have gone way to far past your EDD" and then some quite scary facts.
And im sure i've read similar things in baby books?

Someone let me know if im wrong though, my ipod app is an american app aswell.

Hmmm, i think i might make OH a valentines card. Im so bored and it will be nice :)

I feel really bad, i have to tell my nan that i cant see her until the baby is born now as it hurts to much for me to walk there.

She cant come to my house to see the baby either, as she cant get up stairs.
Im going to take the baby round to see her, but prob not until a few days after the birth, maybe even a week. Depends how it all goes and how i recover etc.

((hugs)) smartie, hope your feeling a bit better? :)

Oh long story... hopefully things will be fine :)

I had high BP this morning but she did it again and it had gone down a little. Don't need it up already!! I can remember having a bad headache before I was admitted to hospital when I was PG with DS... not to worry you or anything:o but make sure you do take it seriously;) I know what you mean about not wanting to bother them though.

  • Hi All

I'm due between 14 and 19th May.. dates changed with each scan so just putting an estimate.. I haven't been to any antenatel classes yet and I'm not sure I really want to.. Is it really essential to go to these classes?

I have also being reading up and most say they only let you go to 41 max.

Im not sure the midwife knows what shes talking about as before i went in she kept coming out the room asking questions to the other midwife and then when i was with her i said when is my next appointment and she said 4 weeks:eek: i said but i will be 42 weeks:eek: anyway i got one for 2 weeks which still makes me 40+ 3 but thats not so bad.
