Nope not taking Calcium or EPO tho did buy them, wasnt too convinced after MW waved them off. May opt to pop a few of the calcium once in labour as I figure they help with pain and by then cant do bubs any harm. EPO was considering using for pernium massage but havent gotten around to it yet, keep forgetting like with my pelvic floor excercises!
MW's do tend to wave these things off - they aren't supposed to recommend anything. When I went to Parentcraft they said we could take whatever vitamins or homeopathic medication we wanted it wouldn't interfere but they couldn't offer any advice on it.
To this day I am convinced the Calcium helped with the pain
Anyhow, came on to see about SJ. Not on FB would someone mind PM'ing me the news? Pretty pleaseA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Redstar - I love vampire diarys. But where i watched everything online i've already seen upto ep 12! lol. Ep 13 is on Friday so i will prob watch it when OH is back to work Monday. Same with desperate housewives lol. Gotta love things being released in America first
Im currently on season 2 of Torchwood though
Having a late dinner tonight, doing stir fryGot some popadoms with my shopping, they are so nice
Is anyone thinking of getting a baby play pen? The big cage looking things? lol.
Me and OH want one as SIL has one and she said its great, but i dont know what one to go for.
Ooh i want the gro- bag egg (i have their nightlight and its fab!), we have one of the thermometres you get free from cow&gate, y'day it got to 15degrees in our room and the heating had been on for about 4 hours.
Im worried because me and OH are used to the coldness of the house, i only notice it when someone comes round and sits in their coat all night lol. So im worried that baby wont be used to it and she'll freeze! lol. Think i'll have the heating on more for when she arrives0 -
EA _ I like the playpens and think it would come in handy if we ever get a bigger place and a garden, atm will stick to using travel cot while she is ickle. Maybe if they come up on a good offer then Ill get one to put away but there usually somewhere between £70 and £90! Oh and eek at the coldness, am sure lily will be fine if you just dress her in layers tho, our house is the opposite and usually quite warm!
Glam - your MW obviously a lil more open minded than mine! One of my friends from work is training for a new position our PCT just made, she will be what they are calling an assistant MW, so may ask her opinion.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Evening ladies!!!
Well Alfie George arrived at 1.20am yesterday morning, a perfect 7lb 5oz bundle of joy!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Labour was great but things got a bit difficult towards the end and had to transfer in for a forceps delivery. I'll post a birth story in the next couple days with all the gory details!!
For now I'd just say I would still recommend HB and waterbirth.
BF is going great too which is fab, although I can't believe how massive my boobs have got!
Anyway, going to sleep now but I'll post some pics tomorrow.
Night all xx
Oh, and my gut feeling was right, he is of course a boy!!0 -
