Turning round in bed is such an effort, and to get off the sofa i need to shuffle to the edge and pull myself up lol. Also i cant sit up from laying down, i have to do it in stages hehe.
Cant wait to be able to lay on my back without my internal organs being squashed lol.
I'm already like that!! I sat on the floor last night to play with the dog, and couldn't get back up by myselfsofa tends to swallow me but that's not all bump's fault, I think much of is due to it being v old - I've had it 10 years and god 2nd hand lol and "my" side has a broken frame where I've always sat in the corner :rotfl: I'm not even that heavy!! But we've ordered a gorgeous new sofa now so hopefully that'll sort me out for a bit

I tend to sit in the middle of the sofa when im alone, so when OH comes homes and sits down the cushion is at an angle and we lean into each other lol.
Im so bored, i have stuff i need to do today but i dont want to start it yet cause when its done i'll be bored later on lol0 -

Oooh have fun! My first antinatal (even though they call it parent craft classes) is on Thursday at 6:30pm, the room where they hold it is tiny with a circle of chairs in though
OH isn't looking forward to going as he doesn't like gatherings with groups of people lol, he thinks they will force him to 'get involved' but i've said he only needs to be involved with me, as the other ladys will have their partners with them and he got me pregnant not them lol.0 -
We still need to book into ours I keep forgetting!! MW told us at 12 weeks to book as soon as had 1st scan as they get filled quickly - oops
I don't really want to go lol but OH does as it's his 1st which is fair enough, must be glad that he wants to be involved and know what he's doing
I'm really pleased with my hair - nobody at work has even commented so he must have done a good job lol it's not even human hair extensions, found some artificial you can still straighten etc!0 -
I am concerned about ours cos you dont need to book or anything you just show up, I mean what if its full?
I am worried that they will make us interact cos I totally dont want to lol, I was too scared to go last week, but as this week is about breastfeeding I really need to go.Debt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Hmmm, thats weird. We have to be booked on all of ours otherwise we cant go lol.
I completly understand the interacting thing. At the birth centre they have a table and chairs in the post natal room, so us new mums can all sit together and have breakfast/lunch/dinner and become best friends.
Well for a start, im there to have a baby, not to socialise. And im a very private person and dont really like to 'interact' IYSWIM?
Im looking up ideas for OH's birthday cake. Im doing a sponge cake with my new butterfly shaped cake tin and some cupcakes to0 -
That doesn't sound at all fun to me!! I always felt very young compared to all the other mums - I was 18, they were all in their 30's, so didn't really want to socialise with them then lol
That's one of the reasons I'm lookin into HB tbh!!0 -
And that to! At the tour i was clearly the youngest one there and im 21.
OH was annoyed as he thinks people dont take us seriously. He always gets asked if the baby was a mistake as we're clearly to young to of planned her! (he's 22 btw)
Another one i get is "are you only getting married cause of the baby?"
No we planned to get married way before we planned to have a baby! :rotfl:
At the tour the MW was asking all the men questions but not OH and it annoyed him lol.0 -
People assume this one is a mistake too, I'm 24 and he's 22! Both my babies were planned lol I had hoped to have 2 by 21 but things didn't work out with dd's dad.
Some people are very rude about it!! Especially when you see how many really young mums there are - they must just not go to the classes etc coz of the attitude0
