  • Afternoon everyone....hope we are all ok today.

Sammie...many congratulations :j what a fab story. At least you have missed out on all those extra weeks of worrying. I hope everything goes well for you.

Nikkit...great news that you are sorted and have had the anti d injection to get you both back on track. Boo to having to get a new washing machine though

Cafc...what a shame you have found the perfect house but not be able to have it :( will keep my fingers crossed that you can sort something out.

I had awful pains that woke me up in the night...felt like i was going to have upset stomach but nothing materilised...was very strange. Just hope bump is ok in there. Have had a busy day so not felt anything as yet but going to have lunch and chill so i hope i get a reassuring kick that bump is ok

Nikkit - thats another fab find on the moses basket, and looks good too, if I were gonna use one this one would be fab :D Oh and the repair man sounds like a cowboy!

Kindof - shame the bank meeting was a waste of space but at least you figured a way to save some money with the aa cover. oh and yeay for suitcases :)

CAFC - yeay for finding the perfect house and what a price, hope your parents can work something out for you. My rents were talking about something similar a few years back, but houses here (surrey!) are so stupidly priced. Want OH to agree to move where my Mum is in Derbyshire as its way cheaper but he's such a mummies boy I have no chance.

Well active morning for me, had a call late last night from my step dads sister saying my step sister had been rushed to hospital with a bad asthma attack and had stopped breathing and her heart had stopped. Could she have my Mums mobile number as they couldnt get hold of them. Parents are in cuba atm! Anyhoo still nothing heard from them this morning and after phoning step aunt, step sis is on a ventilator and unconcious, turns out to be pneumonia, not good :( So I felt awful and spent ages ringing around trying to find exactly where the rents had gone, all I knew was they were in cuba, flew with Thompsons and were due back Monday. I finally managed to track them down but phoning cuba, not easy! So emailed the hotel. Its not gotten to them yet but mum finally switched on her mobile and they just picked up there messages and have phoned to say hello and let us know they have all spoken now, phew! Mum called me a lil detective for tracking them down with no real details lol. So thats my drama and am hoping step sis comes thru ok, we arent really close as our parents got together when we were in our 20's but we do talk and she is family and would feel rotten if I hadnt done everything i could.

awww som hun..... crikey sounds like you have been busy. Best wishes for your sister....

Yeah, it would be ideal if rents could sort something out. But even if they could sort a deposit for us, theres no way with our credit and debt we'd get a mortgage. And im not sure if my parents could get one, due to age....its just so cheap and needs no work.... anyway must stop torturing myself.....

Muffins are lush, it only made 6 though, and i promised everyone else one.... and ive eaten two.... drats.....

ooops on the muffin eating front, oh well you made them so only fair!

Question for anyone having had the pleasure of taking lactulose, does it take long to work? am getting fed up now, and think its not helping with the uncomfy heavy feeling at bottom of bump! Tho that could be just bubs but Id love to know. Waddled around Tesco earlier and was so uncomfy :(

EA - ordered my collage from photobox, did one for baby with fave scan pic, and some other bits. Then cheekily registered OH too and did another with pics of the dog from when he was a puppy thru till now :D Will just need to find frames foe them now, someone said Wilkos do the right size, so hopefully shouldnt cost too much :D

  • Som- It took a couple of days for it to work for me, but when I did go it was quite sudden. I had been eating quite a lot of dried apricots too though to try and get things moving. I must admit I love the taste of the lactolose though :D

    afternoon everyone...

we found a house! LOL but its to buy LOL and no way we can afford it/even get a mortgage...... The idea was my Dad (with his inheritance from my grandad who died sept) was going to invest in a house, we rent from them for a few years till we get our money sorted.... Anyway doesnt look like he'll get his inheritance for a few years (my uncle lives in the house)....
But this house is so cheap! We've seen photos online, its all brand new, nice area, good schools, outdoor spaces for dog etc....
Im just like ARGH! Why do these things always come up when you cant do anything with them!?
Ive emailed the details to my parents anyway in the hope that we could all do it together some other way.....
Basically its 3 bed for less than 38k! (I love living in the North!)

Gonna maybe take a drive out and check out the area.....
(and we've got 1k to put in the pot lol!)

Anyway, ive made lemon filled muffins (lemon curd in the middle)
And was all set for more baking only to discover my sister doesnt have a single cake tin or anything i can use..... Well annoying...

Pain has settled from last night now but baby had tremendous hiccups last night, and woke me up!I think he's pushing into my bladder...... so been to the loo about 6 times today and had the smallest widdle.....

Hope everyone else is well today...

Oh and Smartie - I'd buy it........ and store it at someone else's house.... thats what ive done with all my stuff.....

I hope the house works out for you, I am amazed you found one for 38k lol there are none around my way for that lol

convent - Ive had hellish dia woo woo about 4 times :( this pregnancy, like sitting on the loo for an hour a time!

Som - yeah I kinda knew it would be, well we are saving £4.93 a month now and are going to get £21 cashback from quidco

Awww god Som you have had a tough time! I am pleased you managed to track your mam and dad down, get well vibes to your step sis

Nikkit you'll just have to chuck them all out lol

Well I just ate a whole pack of ginger nuts

And I am about to pack Beany's suitcase!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! scary but exciting lol
