Som - 30 years lol apparantly my mam was saying is thats what happens, they make you pay the interest off first before the actual "loan" starts to be paid off. Its spurred me on to be honest to get rid of overdraft, cos this is is our plan

Pay off overdraft (£1000)
then lloyds cc (£2000)
then virgin cc (£2600)
then m&s card (£3500)
then we want to overpay on our big loan (21k loan) to get that paid off quicker.
then we want to overpay on the mortgage and hopefully be rid of it sooner yay lol

We have a car loan as well which is due to end inn July 2014 but we cant overpay on that so that will have to run its course.

Well I am off to the bank today, the manager rang us about three weeks ago and reckons she can help with our debt.

I personally dont believe she can, but I am going with an open mind, I reckon she will want to slap our CC debt into a loan or onto the mortgage or something which I dont want to happen.

I have a plan for our debt next year and I really think it will work, and it doesnt involve getting more debt

The only way she could possbily offer me help is by moving the cc debt from their 19.9% cc which I have to a lower rate one

Then we need to go to asda for our weekly shop, and then I want to show OH some small suitcases for £5 and £10 that I saw which I thought would be good for me and beany for hospital bags

Yep SJ we'll be at the home birth evening, it's our last chance as I doubt we'll make the March one, how scary, I remember feeling like I had forever to go to one and kept putting it off...not now though!

Kindof that's pants about the mortgage, hope the bank is useful today though Hopefully they can switch your credit card over to something cheaper, can you not move it to a 0% one? When we were clearing OHs, we'd just move it every 6/12 months to wherever was 0%.

I've still not bought any RLT, every time I go into town I forget, must try to remember today. Just up & planning an exciting morning of taking things to the skip Followed by a trip into town to return a necklace OH bought me that turned up in the post completely broken Grr.

oooh & after last nights food talk, we got McDs milkshakes (1 each...only mine was gone in 5 minutes so OH gave me his in exchange for a beer haha) and a curry box from Sainsburys, gorgeous, and raspberry cheesecake for dessert, yum yum yum!

eta: Baby is so low this morning I can feel his head right down in my bits, eek!

Well been to docs, she said she isn't too worried about the neck thing altho because am PG she would like it delt with so she is going to refer me as emergency that way I'll be seen in about two weeks instead of 2 months. I think her concern is it will burst cos she said would probably have to go A & E then as it would bleed a fair bit and need cautorizing...eek! Also got her to prescribe me some lactulose as constipation is getting a tad annoying now and dont want to get piles lol.

Oh and stopped off for bacon sarnies from the bakers on the way home, OH was dead chuffed. No way am going shopping on an empty stomache we'll end up with a cupboard and fridge full of junk!

morning all,


Well back from hospital at about 10pm last night, was on monitor for about hour was supposed to be half hour but kept coming back saying alittle longer , a little longer , due to little man having a high heartbeat at 170 - 180 at times then dropping to 110:eek: , which they were a little concerned but said he was moving around so much which he may of been grabbing hes cord, and man he is such a little mover after 7pm at night every night ,

Found out that there was feotal blood cells in my blood cells which must of occurred when i fell down stairs , this is caused by the placenta slightly bleeding and getting into my blood stream , my antibodies did there job thats why there was no more anti bodies in my blood, so was told quite bluntly , if you are a rh neg bllod group any knock or fall you must go and get checked incase this ever happenes, well all anti d back in me .

Consultant came to see me did internal , cerfix is soft , no liqour there, everything looked fine , while on monitor OMG the pains i was getting :eek: they thought at first b4 internal it was contractions , but then they spread out quite alot so put it down to BH, scared me alittle as i was there on my own, but with my cervix being soft she said things could start anytime, so making sure evrything is def ready now,

Another scan is booked for sometime next week must wait for hospital to call monday to say when to check on growth , water and cord, as they measuring me at 35 weeks , 2 weeks smaller again :eek:

Went to bed last night not much sleep as so uncomfortable with lots pains for hours ,

On the Male MW , i hada male MW student at that deliver hes first baby which was my DS2 , and he was just as good as female MW, when i see consultants 75% of the time they are male , and i have no problem , so if its male or female i dont mind,:o

Som , with the EPO and calcium , i am just going by my MW say so , especially with all the problems i have had with this PG i dont want to risk anything now



congrats sami great news , can you add this to the bottom of you list as it seems to of come out different , just copy and paste , it should work

I had a male midwife while I was in hospital before having DS and he was great!!! I really hoped he'd be around when I had DS but he wasn't:(
