Kindof that's pants about the mortgage, hope the bank is useful today though :) Hopefully they can switch your credit card over to something cheaper, can you not move it to a 0% one? When we were clearing OHs, we'd just move it every 6/12 months to wherever was 0%.

oooh & after last nights food talk, we got McDs milkshakes (1 each...only mine was gone in 5 minutes so OH gave me his in exchange for a beer haha) and a curry box from Sainsburys, gorgeous, and raspberry cheesecake for dessert, yum yum yum!

eta: Baby is so low this morning I can feel his head right down in my bits, eek!

Well I am back from the bank they did nothing as I thought lol, well actually we paid £12 a month to them for a gold account and the only perk on that was free AA cover, well its actually cheaper to not pay the account fee and just pay for AA and go through Quidco and get cashback, so we cancelled the gold cover.

They said to change the APR on the card I would have to ring card services and it might dent my credit score so I am not going to do that.

We have 3 cc's and do plan on switching them around but they total like £8000 and no one company will give me £8000 straight :( so I am going to wait a whiel cos I dont know what the APRS are on them

M&S 0% runs out this month
    Lloyds is 19.9%
    Virgin runs out in April

So once I know which one is the highest APR then I will try and get a 0% I know ASDA and santander do one

Went to Asda for our weekly shop managed to spend £31 this week, but we got 3 x packs of minced beef reduced to £1.30 a pack :j

Then we went to another shop and I got some little suitcases, slightly bigger than hand luggage size for hospital :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: got one for bean and one for me, so I think I might pack back today!

YAY for getting a McDonalds Milkshake :) they are totally nommy

And yay for head being really low lol, can you feel his head?? I can totally feel elliots head with my hand, its mad

Som - Yay for you getting to queue jumo slightly and nom nom nom bacon sarnies, we have bernard matthews turkey burgers in the oven nom nom lol

Nikkit - I am pleased you are back home!! and everything is ok now, eek for being able to go into labour at any time lol :)

I dont mind male consultants Ive had them at the hospital and have had an internal exam from a male consultant but I just dont like the feeling of a male MW

Nikkit thats my basket YAY lol MIL got me it at the reduced price a couple of weeks ago

Aww Sammy congratulations that's such a nice story! Kinda nice that you missed out on the most worrying time too, especially after have a miscarriage previously. I was so worried the forst 12 weeks and it went so slowly!!

Well the top chamber of my pool has deflated a bit overnight which is worrying and annoying :( Hope it was just the valve not being closed up properly or something.

Nikkt glad your anti-D is topped back up again now. And yey for soft cervix!! How exciting!

Kindof that's mad you can feel beany's head! I have tried but can't feel tic tic's, DH said he though he could once though.

We have miscalculated slightly this week and I've left myself with almost no money til DH gets paid Tuesday. I forgot Monday is the 1st so a few bills come out then. Dammit. I hate it when that happens. Wouldn't have been so bad but with DH not working much in January we haven't had as much come in, then I've spent £70 on the mattress last week then £90 on the pool yesterday.PLus a £28 curry on Thursday. Oops.

we have just had to go out and buy a washing machine or should i say OH is out buying a washing machine now , as other one has broke and we had a bloke out yesterday no call out charge he said , so when he got he looked at it listened to it and didnt tell us what was wrong with it , instead he said as soon as i take the lid off , it will be £80 all in  with what ever he found wrong with it , unless it was a lot more then he would tell us first and we could decide if we wanted him to do the work or not ,well i thought yes ok sounds ok , but OH was not so sure , what if it was a bolt and took him 5 mins and that costs us £80 , so OH said nah mate make it £50 then go ahead , the bloke said you having a joke aint you , no way i acn do it for that , so OH told him no thanks then , the bloke then said , next time you call someone out and dont want him to do the job and waste there time , think again !!!! he was really funny , so i think he was trying to scam us,
So after alot of discussion we decided we will invest in a new one and take out cover etc and not have this problem again

    afternoon everyone...

we found a house! LOL but its to buy LOL and no way we can afford it/even get a mortgage...... The idea was my Dad (with his inheritance from my grandad who died sept) was going to invest in a house, we rent from them for a few years till we get our money sorted.... Anyway doesnt look like he'll get his inheritance for a few years (my uncle lives in the house)....
But this house is so cheap! We've seen photos online, its all brand new, nice area, good schools, outdoor spaces for dog etc....
Im just like ARGH! Why do these things always come up when you cant do anything with them!?
Ive emailed the details to my parents anyway in the hope that we could all do it together some other way.....
Basically its 3 bed for less than 38k! (I love living in the North!)

Gonna maybe take a drive out and check out the area.....
(and we've got 1k to put in the pot lol!)

Anyway, ive made lemon filled muffins (lemon curd in the middle)
And was all set for more baking only to discover my sister doesnt have a single cake tin or anything i can use..... Well annoying...

Pain has settled from last night now but baby had tremendous hiccups last night, and woke me up!I think he's pushing into my bladder...... so been to the loo about 6 times today and had the smallest widdle.....

Hope everyone else is well today...

Oh and Smartie - I'd buy it........ and store it at someone else's house.... thats what ive done with all my stuff.....

  • Cafcgirl- It's a shame you can't get a mortgage as renting is going to be putting money basically down the drain. We bought our first house last year but had a problem with getting the money together for a deposit unless we spent a couple of years saving. Luckily my OH's parents paid the deposit and our mortgage is cheap as chips.
