i'll be honest that was the more "endearing" quirk she highlighted, some other ones were a bit freaky......
i was more shocked that she'd been watching out for them so intently....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

Evening ladies...hope everyone is ok
Cafc...good luck with the viewing tomorrow. Am sure we all have ocd tendencies its just that they all vary. I think its amazing how your sister can remember your quirks that far back.
Kindof...am so pleased the reading went ok with the midwife. At least they are keeping an eye which is only a good thing for both of you. Its great that you have such an understanding boss.
Ymakesmile...i am planning on watching that programme. Whether i will be able to when its on is another matter
Nikkit..one tip on being able to eat loads of fresh pineapple without the sore tongue is after cutting it up rinse it under water. You can also use the core bit as a baby teether. These are a few tips i got when i visited the Dole plantation in Hawaii a few years ago...i hope that helps
Yorkygal...am soo pleased your mri results were ok
Three2b....Massive congratulations on the birth of your little boy :T
Saz...i found the 20wk facinating too especially looking at the 4 chambers of the heart.
Yummymummyoftwo...It took 2 weeks for my downs results to come through and i got them by seeing my midwife at the doctors.
Drea...congratualtions and welcome
Well i went for my 20wk scan today. I was really nervous and all the appointments were running 30minutes late which didnt help. But all went well. The scanogropher was really good and explained everything as she was doing it. All the measurements and checks were fine but bump didnt want to play. Bump spent all of the scan in the foetal position with its hands clenchedat one point it stretched its hands and was stamping its foot but i think that was more annoyance that it wanted to be left alone!!!
The pics werent as good as the 12week scan but still great to have and just shows how much bump has grown.
I still havent had an appointment for my kidney scan so i hoping that when i do i will get to have another sneaky peak at bump
xxBeautiful baby boy arrived 20th June 2010...Harry..weighing 7lb 4oz on fathers day :j0 -
Thanks Convent girl
yes my boss is very understanding, its great
YAY for your 20 week being okdid you want to know the sex?

evening ladies,
Congrats Drea,:j
Aww, glad your MW visit went well Kindof, hopefully next week your BP will be behaving too!
All this talk of cake got me cracking open the French Fancies only for DH to come home and announce he has to take in some cakes for work to sell for Haiti (as they're having a dress down day)and he was thinking of making the special rock cakes that I make:rotfl:The man couldn't boil an egg- like he's going to start baking:rotfl: I think he daren't ask me to do it knowing I have cleaned the house and car top to bottom today....like I'm too mean to make cakes for charity :cool:Busy mummy of 4.:j0 -
oh no, what i mean is after our convo she was remembering me being freaky when i was younger, and then this week she's been watching me, and these are the things i do now.....
she also said a lot about me having to line things up, like the placemats and coasters, and that i swap my cutlery over in my hands three times before i start eating.....
GOD IM SUCH A FREAK!
ok i think its cake making tomorrow afternoon, that'll please dh for when he comes home as well.... need to investigate if there is a baking tin here that i can use. This is one of the many things i hate about living in someone else's house....
They never have the things I need, and I know that I have them, in a box, in storage LOL
So 100's cake and i think muffins are in orderWealth is not measured by currency0 -
