    Morning all,

Well I am at work and I am shattered, I didnt do very well at not thinking about things last night, I was awake every half an hour thinking about bean and wondering if he is ok!

Someone at work told me if baby is bum down (which he is) thats double breech is that right? whats the difference between that and breech?

I need to speak to my boss today about the possibility of having to leave work tomorrow :( I am rather sad about that, but if I have to I have to

  • Hi ladies, hope you're all well this morning.

Kindof - hope you're feeling a bit better. My friend was telling me when she was breech she heard that if she shined a torch at her foof for 10 minutes a day it might encourage babe to turn - I nearly wet myself laughing when she told me she did it - go to the light :rotfl:It didn't work but the doc turned her and she said it was fine.

Brednall and 3 - massive labour vibes for you!

MV - hope all goes well today

Fishcake - did you find your notes? I would be so scared, my MW is a cow at the best of times!

I got my nursing bras from mothercare and while they weren't cheap they are sooo comfy :D

I'm 39+1 today and after being convinced the girl would come early now it feels like she's never going to come out :rotfl: Still no BH, no show, no nothing :( Feeling v.v.uncomfortable now and getting impatient!

Oh and a word of warning about bambinodirect.co.uk. We ordered the base for our car seat on 1/1 and after patiently waiting for it to arrive I e-mailed them twice to chase it up, tried calling several times (no answer) and checking the website (it said my order was "processing") they finally e-mailed saying they'd cancelled my order and sent me an e-mail (they didn't) because they couldn't get the stock. Strangely, you can still order it from their website :whistle: Very disappointed and have now had to order elsewhere
  • Thanks Freebies...my appointment is tomorrow morning and I'm willing it to come/dreading it at the same time. Guess I'll find out one way or another...so scared.

    morning all,

kindof , so sorry MW didnt go a expected , but there is def time for bubs to turn hands na dknees and rocking is one of the best ways for about 10 minutes a hour is good, one of mine was breech at 34 weeks and i did this for a week and when i went back to MW the following wek , he had turned HTH ( not medical advise bTW)

talk on pineapple , eating pineapple during pregnancy wont do a lot , for it to have impact on cervix , my MW said you need to eat at least 8 in one sitting , very sore tongue may appear lol,

kindof again : please dont worry as worrying may keep your BP high , please listen to MW and try and finish work asap , you will be able to chill at home and take things easy and help with turning bubps and bringing that BP down ,

got my nappyscak baby carrier (Beautiful Mei Tai style Napsack Baby Carriers ) from bizziebaby today and looks quite good , need to wait for little man to make a appearence now to try it for them

if anyone is interested in them this is thesite

    Hi All
I'm currently 37+4 with my second and was wondering about boob leakage and how common is it not to have any at all? With my first I was exactly the same and really struggled with bfeeding - is there any way of "encouraging" the milk to come???

    Cheers
