Morning ladies,
Nikkit the sling looks fab, what a brilliant thing to get to test
IHF boo to bambinodirect, how rubbish of themHadn't planned to order anything from them but will definitely steer clear now. Lots of labour vibes for you
Kindof, hope work is ok today & your boss is alright with you potentially finishing early. I know it must be frustrating but it's only a week or so early and much better for you and Elliot to be at home chilled out watching rubbish on the tv than at work getting stressed out hun, x
CAFC really hope the house is perfect for you, seems like it's just what you need, x
Lol Som the 'Mama duck' comment made me laugh& yay for the TENS machine arriving so quickly and being perfect, woo hoo!
OH picked up my notes last night and was reading what the midwife had written yesterday and asked what 3/5 palp means, I was like what? She didn't tell me that! Eek, so this means he's 2/5 engaged, right? From googling I get that they can still move back out but I'm really hoping not.. I'm desperate for a 37 weeker!
Still feeling utterly pants today, got a really uncomfortable pain in my back and across the top of bump just beneath my boobs, think it's because I've got a cold and my lungs are squashed up though? If it's not any better by tomorrow will go see the docs as it's been going on for a couple of daysReally struggling to eat anything as I feel like my stomach's the size of a pea so bit worried about that too, trying to eat fruit and veg before anything else so at least baby is getting the good stuff & not chocolate!
Really ought to get out of bed now but just can't face it, nothing exciting to do today til antenatal this evening then out for dinner for MIL's birthday, is it awful to be dreading it? Can't bear the thought of being stuck in a restaurant for hours while feeling like this!Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
I do squeeze them but its just clear liquid that comes out!
Will call my mw - not due to see her til 40+4 again!0 -
thats a good sign some liquid is there, maybe body not producing milk just yet,oh im not sure hun ,yer give MW a ring , 40 + 4:eek:, mine is on fri at 36+5 , then 38, then 39 , then 40 , then 41 , i am classeda as a first time mum as my youngest is 12 yro, so maybe different for 2nd time mumsDont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0

Nikkit - sorry your feeling down hun, huggles for ya x But that nappysack looks really nice
Really hope I hear from Bizzie baby soon
Kindof - never heard of double breech I think what your collegue is getting mistaken with is bum first or foot first tho! As the others have said try to relax as mush as you can as it really wont help things stressing, rope OH into a massage or something calming.
Pokey - no help at all on the leeky boobs, but I havent had any either and am 35 weeks tomorrow. Have heard other peeps say it doesnt mean anything tho so am staying with that till told otherwise by MW. Think we are covering feeding at Antenatal today so may pick up something there
IHF - the torch thing is so funny lol, cant remember if it was on here I heard it but somone mentioned something similar about playing music down there! Sorry your getting fed up now, at 34+6 am already starting to get uncomfy so hope LO takes after me and arrives 2 weeks early or at the very least on time
Well nothing happening here, have antenatal this afternoon and thats about it. Not even a to do list today tho may put a clothes wash on, oh the excitement! Called hospital already to book on there BF workshop but the advisor is out of the office and its just an answer machine so left the relevant details. Hope I can get onto one as she isnt due back till am 37 weeks! Debating washing my hair but OH has hidden my hairdryer where I cant get to it, and am not sure hair will dry before I need to go out later, its a stae atm tho.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Iheartfreebies wrote: »Oh and a word of warning about bambinodirect.co.uk. We ordered the base for our car seat on 1/1 and after patiently waiting for it to arrive I e-mailed them twice to chase it up, tried calling several times (no answer) and checking the website (it said my order was "processing") they finally e-mailed saying they'd cancelled my order and sent me an e-mail (they didn't) because they couldn't get the stock. Strangely, you can still order it from their website :whistle: Very disappointed and have now had to order elsewhere :mad:0

Morning (nearly!)
OH woke me up at 11am by calling me cause i didn't answer his text, which i usually do. He was worried lol. He's convinced im going to go into early labour at some point. I was mega confused on the phone saying "why didn't you text me?" and he was going 'i did text you, are you ok?'.
Me in a half asleep state is quite funny :rotfl:kindofagilr wrote: »
Its weird isnt it that me, you (gymfiend) and EA are all measuring big and we are due within 2 days of eahc other lol
I know! I feel massive now, at the bottom of our stairs to the left there is a mirror, and when i walk down all you can see is my bump come into view first then my body :rotfl:
The baby feels big to from what i've felt.Dear_Prudence wrote: »EA - the massage sounds amazing, i will have to remember that one when I am in my last few weeks!
It was really good, and i had a really good nights sleep. Only woke 2/3 times intead of the usual millions of timeBut i did have weird dreams all night...

Normally I'd love to watch that kind of thing but now I'm pregnant I think I will be too scared too. Will anyone else watch it?
I would watch it, but only cause i like things like that and have been looking for pregnancy/birth related things to watch so im prepared. I might have to V+ it so i can watch it when OH is out. Even though i feel i should force him to watch it so he's prepared to :rotfl:Iheartfreebies wrote: »Kindof - hope you're feeling a bit better. My friend was telling me when she was breech she heard that if she shined a torch at her foof for 10 minutes a day it might encourage babe to turn - I nearly wet myself laughing when she told me she did it - go to the light :rotfl:It didn't work but the doc turned her and she said it was fine.0 -
Torch up bum :rotfl:Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

my little man at the moment wakes up a cpl times during the day for a little while BUT at 7pm he awakes and kicks me and turns and hits me for 5 hours non stop every night within half hour of 7pm , its like he knows its my tv time and i chill out , but at the moment when he kicks you can see hes foot come out my right hand side and if i touch it i can feel the heel and base of hes foot , and when he hits its more in the middle of belly and i put my hand on it and can feel hes pushes , it is really uncomfrotable at the mo as there isnt much space left and things are poking here there and everywhereDont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0 -
:rotfl:
You would need either a really small torch or a really massive bum :rotfl:
This baby is most active in the evening, and when i go to bed, if i lay on my right side it feels as if she's stamping her feet down onto the bed
Its official, i cant lay on my back anymore. I get light headed and a really sore back
I used to be able to lay on my back if i had my pillow propped under one side to make me lift up a little.
The other day when you were discussing your dogs and babies. Has anyone got a cat? Our cat gets so much attention from OH, and mainly cuddles from me. That when the baby comes im worried he'll get jealous.
We had to move her bouncy chair to the nursery as he kept sleeping on it (which was mega cute) but im worried he'll try and take it back when she comes and its out here again.0 -

I've got 2 [STRIKE]babies[/STRIKE] cats and if my friend comes round with her baby they're straight in the pram. I know they're going to be ever so cross with me:( [STRIKE]Daddy[/STRIKE] DH is going to buy them a new bed;):D I'm also going to make sure I get a cat net thingy for the moses basket/pram.
Eeeeeek... I'm talking baby:o Can you tell it hasn't sunk in yet??:rotfl:
Nikkit... did I read earlier that your being treated as a "1st time mum"? That's relief to know as my 1st baby was 14 years ago!! I feel like a first time mum!:oBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120
