  • Morning all,I had a reasonably good nights sleep so I'm a happy bunny,:j
Sorry I haven't been posting everyday,my energy levels have been v low and it's really affecting things so I've kept a low profile. My fibromyalgia meeting went well yesterday and my family and the profesionals have a plan in place to support me after the birth so I don't feel quite so worried about how I will cope with a newborn and a toddler.Plus they have suggested that I learn to drive with some of the grant money I'm entitled to,'to improve my quality of life'.V V excited about this but dead nervous too!It wd be life changing though as on bad days I am often house bound. Thanks for being up in arms about my mil guys :D She wasn't v interested in it at all,but did manage to behave.

Anyway enough of me,how are all of you?
Labour vibes to three, hope your ok.
Guinea,I think I'm due 3 days after you and I've started to feel heavy pressure down in my girly bits (as my dd calls it!lol).I think as this is my 2nd that baby engages later or not till actual labour.Wait till you feel like you have a pineapple between your legs! The last wk or 2 of my last preg I was convinced she was going to fall out!ha ha (if only).Sorry to hear that you and others are in turmoil over the mk hospital.I love the idea of a home birth but I love the drugs too much,so it's a no can do for me.I'm pretty sure once your in established labour your be in too much pain to be worrying about housework thou!;):)
MV glad to hear your scan went well and little one is still sticky-great news!
Has anyone else started the perium(sp) massage down below?App it can stop tearing and my midwife has just suggested it to me.I didn't do it last time and had to have stitches which I'm keen to avoid this time.Anybody thinking of doing it?
Hugs to cafcgirl too, have you been to see someone yet?Hope your not in too much pain

    Morning ladies.

Well today is my due date but no signs of anything happening. I'm already sick of people asking why I'm still here and why I haven't had the baby yet.

I have an appointment with the consultant on Tuesday and hopefully they'll offer me a sweep that might get things moving if I'm still waiting by then.

    Regards

Hi all hope everyone is well, I'm still here too!!
Still waiting on bumb appearing and lappy :rotfl:

Welcome to the newbies that have joined hope we can be of help to yous all and congratulations.

I have been having lots of twinges the past few days, some of them really had me thinking it was the start but then they would vanish:mad: OH was all annoyed that i woke him last night, so sorry my pain interfered with your beauty sleep you @@@@@.

Still waiting to find out what is going to happen with the travel cot, found a direct email to the company and they actually replied to it unlike when i tried ebay and pay pal. have sent them pictures of the damage and will give them the option of partial or total refund and return of cot. hope they don't take to long to reply now.

nesting has definitely started too, i gutted the kitchen cupboards and i hate doing stuff like that mainly because within an hour of doing it i mess them up again cooking lol thats why i hate doing the dishes you wash them put them away and before you know it they are back out and dirty needing washed again, round and round it goes lol

I'm so bored too always want to be doing something but by the time i get dressed I'm exhausted and sore and just want to sit down, mind is willing but not my body lol Thinking of walking over to mums to see if it will start anything but the thought of contractions midway through the park scares me, although DS has left his mobile out for me so at least i could call someone if needed.

Labor vibes to brednall hope it starts soon and goes smoothly, hugs to everyone else and sticky vibes for those that need them, X

You might feel better once you are into the final weeks and see her more often, i remember feeling the same way as you cos there was such huge gaps between being seen. Also, there was one mw i wasn't keen on having at the birth, and i had a HB so it depended who was on duty. Anyway she turned up and i was gutted for about 3 seconds but she was actually really lovely and i'd love her to deliver my baby again if i was gonna have one!

Strange how she knows she'll be at your birth, i don't think any of ours would come in on a day off!

    Thanks BeenieCat x
You're probably right :) I just worry abit too much half the time, lol!
I can't undertstand why she told me she'll be there either, haven't decided where I'm having the birth yet, lol.

Oh and in Lloyds Pharmacy atm they've got Tens machines half price...cheapest one is £7.49
