Is that skin to skin lark where as soon as baby is born it`s plopped onto your belly?
I had that with my first born and thought it was absolutely disgusting,it actually made me physically sick.So with my second I requested that baby was wrapped up first before given to me and I was fine with that..
hazzie i felt exactly the same after dd eww it made me go queer so with ds i had him in a blanket well dh did because i was so worn out

Nikkit are you Que jumping :mad: I'm soooooo jealous, Can't relax no matter what i do thanks to hips/cold and size of bump.

Put the Lappy into get fixed, OH looked like he could have crawled into a box when the guy gave us an estimate to fix it lol So i should be back on line soon.

Hugs and vibes to all that need them and please feel free to divert all unwanted labor vibes to me:rolleyes:

  • Hi every1 :)

Hope everything's ok with Nikkit x

Bought a few little outfits for bump 2day...can't wait! 22 weeks on sunday and bumps grown alot in the past couple of weeks...thank god for maternity jeans :)

My friend had her daughter on Sunday, she was induced. Popping over to see her Friday and i'm really looking forward to it :D Nervous about holding a newborn all over again tho but that's something i'll have to get used to. Like bone china :S :D

Got to wait till i'm 25 weeks to see midwife again, seems a while but I bet it'll fly by :) Haven't even decided where i'm having baby yet...need to start thinking as theres a choice of 2 hospitals or a maternity/ birthing centre,or the choice of home. Need to make my mind up,lol :)

  • Sending lots of labour vibes over to you three :D

nikki take it easy hun and if your worried get your backside up that hospital woman! despite all the problems my hospital said about in the news they were bloody brilliant in the short time i was there, i cant fault them in the slightest and i was petrified about giving birth there because of what had been all over the news!

I cant remember who it was that was saying about skin to skin, i had skin to skin with kaden but they did wipe him over first ;)
i also attempted to BF straight away but he wasnt interested he just wanted to sleep, now he just feeds and sleeps :rotfl:

Som i have to have the boys one of that for Kaden now :D Have given orders for people to go to mothercare for me and get one :rotfl: Super cute :D

    Appropriate vibes to all :D

  • Hey all.

Supersaver have you checked out www.homebirth.org.uk if you are considering HB? I found it really useful when deciding it was what I wanted. It's also got lots of interesting birthstories and info even if you decide hospital is where you'd prefer to be.

IHF I like the sound of your birth plan too!

yummy I found not letting myself get too hungry helped with the MS, peppermint tea, sea sickness bands and ginger biscuits have helped others but ti really varies from person to person. Hope you can find something that works for you!

    Hello PP and 3
