Hi ladies - I've been posting mostly on the less than 12 weeks preg thread, but it's ever so quiet there today.
I am 7+5 and have been bleeding on and off since the weekend. Went for an early scan at the EPU on monday and was so happy to see our little bean and its heartbeat.
However since then I've continued bleeding and it has become heavier, redder and less browny than before. I'm in no pain, and they couldn't see any reason for it when they did the scan, so we are praying that it is just one of those mysterious things.
I have my first meeting with the MW at the hospital tomorrow so am hanging on till then and hoping they may be able to put my mind at ease a bit.
It's torturous at the moment. I think this has been the worst week of my lifeLuckily my work have been understanding and allowed me to work from home this week. I'm trying to rest up and not panic..easier said than done!

Towards the end of my last PGnancy I had this with a pair of my mat jeans that were over the bump. I found that if i wore my bump band under them, or a long vest/ Tshirt tucked in to them (under another top of course) that they itched much less, it just seemed to be the itchy, stretch fabric they used when it was directly against my skin iyswim. Might get you through work without buying another pair.

MV - Big hugs hun, take it easy, keep rested, there could be a number of reasons, like cysts etc..... Im sure you'll get to wear those jeans....
Yorky - Glad scan went well, did you not want to find out the sex or was baby being uncooperative?
Got mine tomorrow at half 10 and desperate for confirmation about sex..... after that we're travelling down south to my family so I can see my lovely puppy and introduce him to his little brother, now that theres something there....
Going to have to take some paracetamol for my jaw, although it had no effect last night.... doesnt help that im really tired as well and we had plans to do stuff today and i just cant face itWealth is not measured by currency0 -

I have tried folding the band down but my pants fall down lol but will deffo try the longer top tucked into them or a bump band underneath the pants band.

Hugs MV - I am sure you will. PMA xoxo :A
I have got pretty much my Maternity wardrobe sorted! I was given a load of stuff from my best friend and have picked up bits on E bay & in the sales in Next & New Look. New Look was good as they had all summer bits at bargin prices!!!I had to think about work and being smart! I know from DD 12 years ago that by the end of PG I was sick to death of wearing the same stuff all the time! My sister who is TTC has been on a real downer with me and having a go at me for getting anything BUMP related saying it is too soon. I just feel that I would rather save the money & get things when on offer etc but I guess it is a very personal thing:rolleyes:
How soon did you all start to show ????????
MW said I would show sooner as 2nd PG I have got a tummy which I never had before but think it is wind & fluid retention!!!! :rotfl:If you can think it........it will happen0 -
tink - how far along are you?
Shame about your sister but I guess it must be really hard for her too.
I dont see any problem in buying things that you know you'll need if you find them cheap.
I started to show at around 16 weeks but im really petite and was slim, so it was pretty obvious pretty early on. From about 12 -15 wks though I had a lot of just bloating.... but now its full on baby bumpWealth is not measured by currency0
