Well breastfeeding group was good. Nice to see babies who are at different ages and stages as I don't really know what to expect, development-wise. And nice to see that there's no set rules too, there was a 6 month old who was bigger than an 8 month old and that kind of thing.

I called MW this morning but didn't get an apology! She's coming out next week now, Wednesday. If it had been a delivery I'd been expecting or something I would have kicked off big time but as she may end up delivering my baby I thought I'd best keep it sweet!!

Health visitor also called this morning to arrange to come out and see me so she's coming Wednesday too. This is all getting ever so real!!

Going out with a friend this afternoon to a farm shop, so will stock up on some tasty meat to make meals out of for the freezer.
  • Hey all,

Gemma, linkie doesn't work for me :(

Does anyone know what's going on jha? Her FB keeps talking about in and out of hospital

To anyone planning water birth...personally, I couldn't have imagined wearing ANYthing in that pool, as by the time I got to that stage all I wanted to do was rip my clothes off and climb in. Trust me, nakedness is the very last thing on your mind. Also, like GISI you spend the first while afterwards with nothing on down below (while laying in bed that is) and sheet to preserve your dignity - actually it's better b/c once I did put PJ bottoms on, I felt myself being paranoid every 10 minutes that I was bleeding on them.

Som, I washed mine as washing nappies increases absorbancy so I imagine same is true for muslins??

    Hello everyone!

I have just over 11 weeks until baby is here! Just wondered what everyone would suggest packing for hospital? For me and for baby, I have seen plenty of lists for bags but they seem to be geared towards people who are in labour I am having a c-section so not sure if what I will need should be different? Just wanted to start getting stuff in ready.

    afternoon everybody!!!!

DH has also been invited to the interviews for paramedic so YAY!!!!

Could have the choice of two jobs! WOOWOO
Oh and I did send a cheeky offer for that house we saw LOL We just don have £1k to hand out so I offered the deposit and half months rent for first month. Just have to see what they say now....

In baby news, could not get comfy last night was horrid. And has anyone else experienced like a really stuffy nose when they go to bed, mine just seems to block, meaning i cant lay on my sides, and i cant sleep well on my back because well my back starts to hurt LOL....
Am starting to think I may need to buy a pregnancy pillow.... do people recommend them?

Lovely bump EA :) Have to say that considering you're measuring so big, you don't look massive! Have you heard back from your blood tests yet?

    Thanks :D

Yeah the Doctors called me y'day, but i was half asleep lol. Apparently im 'borderline' so they are giving me somehting called 'pregaday' which is Folic Acid & Iron... Nothing to do with blood sugars..

I cant take it anyway, last time i did i as having bad cramps and not so nice side effects so i called my MW and an out of hours GP and they both said not to take it anymore. So i need to call GP back to say i cant have that and to give me something else lol.

Also, i agree with you about wanting labour to be private. As soon as my mum & dad know im in labour they will be calling me and texting me lol. And i want to get through the first stage in private. Until i phone dad to tell him to take me to hospital :p

I haven't spoke about it with OH yet.

Kindof- Its 51days until my due date. 51 days!!!
I remember annoucing "im due in 100 days" :o:rotfl:

We went to iceland earlier and i got some more of the nommy tropical juice. I got 4 litres this time though, should last me longer now :D

Som- Not yet, i went onto their website but couldn't find anything about any groups so i will email over the weekend :)

Gemma- She is sooo cute and tiny!!! Congrats :D
