  • I wish we could buy everything sooner rather than later but we have to get our kitchen done before bubs comes or it would never get done and I despise it as it is. It's not how I would have chosen to do it though but my OH was adamant that the kitchen had to be done now. I'm just hoping for some good car boot bargains when they start up in april :D

Totally agree! Although when I think there is only 6 pay days before I'm due and we have to pay for our kitchen to be done and buy all of baby bean's things then it seems far too soon.

oh stop it will you :rotfl::rotfl:i have a bit of ocd too i need things to be organised, i was in asda earlier and they have the avent & tommie tippe bottles in the baby event now i dont know which ones to get or i may get the dr browns anti colic ones i just cant choose, i know its personal choice but how do you pick

mys you should get loads of bargains at the car boot sales, my mother is a car boot sale queen & finds all the bargain so i get a lie in and still get the bargains:rotfl:

Sorry hun, not sure what you need to pack for c/s at this stage am assuming I will be having a regular birth and so am doing a standard hospital bag. Have you asked you MW or tried googling it?

  • Jolene,
I'm having a c-section too in just over 12 weeks. I haven't really started thinking about what I'm taking - I am just assuming that it'll be like the standard hospital bag list... I hope! I suppose I should start thinking about it!

Hi Jolene, I had an EMCS in November and I would say you need similar things to a standard labour bag really. Make sure you have some really big granny pants packed so they can go up over your scar, and some pj trousers or joggers with a soft waist band so they don't irritate it.

Also bear in mind you'll be in a couple of nights so might need a few more clothes.

It's probably worth asking on the parents board as a few of the ladies have had planned c-sections.
