I love my pregnancy pillow
I have a V shaped one for bed and a normal long one that i got for xmas, the big one sits behind me on the sofa so i have a cushion that i can bend whichever way i want
I got my first birthday card in the post today from OH grandparents
Got my new contacts to, and a baby blanket that someone knitted for me
They also left a 'sorry you were out' card, saying my parcel was to big for letter box, when i was clearly in as OH answered the door to get the other ones lol.0 -
Hello everyone!
I have just over 11 weeks until baby is here! Just wondered what everyone would suggest packing for hospital? For me and for baby, I have seen plenty of lists for bags but they seem to be geared towards people who are in labour I am having a c-section so not sure if what I will need should be different? Just wanted to start getting stuff in ready.

Was just wondering if there is anyone else on here who is roughly around my stage at the moment (13 weeks). Seems nearly everyone is much further along. I can't imagine one day being in the last few weeks.....scary!
Hope everyone is doing well today x
I'm 15 weeks so only 2 weeks ahead of youJuly seems like a long way off yet!!

1more? Yay! Was feeling a bit lonely being so early on
CAFCGirl I totally agree it's great hearing from everyone whatever stage of pregnancy they are at. I've been making mental notes of things I have read from other ladies that I know will come in useful when I'm further on. It's just a shame ladies in the earlier stages seem reluctant to join in so much. Though I was very much just lurking before 12 weeks 'just in case', so I'm one to talk!0 -

Ok maybe thats a bit scary when you think of it like that! I'm lucky i don't need to buy too much as still have quite a lot from when Jake was little but i do need to move house and decorate it before July, hopefully as soon as possible, want to be decorated and settled in by the time baby gets here! xStarted Slimming World 5/7/11 Weight loss so far 1 stone 11lbs :T

its quite hard when you're early on though because theres like a mental benchmark to reach before it becomes real i think.... and you dont want to talk about it outloud and then have to break other news. Although everyone is so supportive, i think its a little bit of self preservation.... well it was for me anyway....
Plus there seems a general time at which everyone starts thinking about certain things, like beds, and feeding and changing etc... which generally seems after 26 weeks, its like that on other forums ive been on especially...
Im just too impatient and have too much OCD to leave things, i like to research and research and test and such like....
Plus pre about 16 weeks, theres enough to cope with, with sickness and tiredness, to then be trying to think about breast pumps as well....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Hehe. I'm too organised to not think about everything there is to buy/do/sort out before bubs arrive. It's doing my head no good already and I'm a professional worrier so that doesn't help
I don't think it will seem 'real' to me until I can feel baby inside me. Everytime I look at the scan pics I think it's someone else's! lol. I think it's because I always vowed to myself that I would never have children, and now here I am!

me tooI've had my panic and bought all the big baby stuff at 16 weeks. Although, the January sales added to the temptation to get things in early.
In all honesty, at 17.5 weeks after my first "routine" MW appointment, it's just starting to feel really real now. That said, the bump is suddenly becoming unmissable when I wear certain clothes - so that has something to do with it!0
