EA - Thanks for the co-op tip off, I may have to stop off there tomorrow - it was over £2 a bottle in asda  I've checked and you don't need a code - you get the choice of an Edward or Jacob USB (means nothing to me
)
Mel - I think everyone has a preference, I wanted a girl but OH was desperate for a boy. However, when the sonographer told us she was a girl he burst into tears then hastily added "they're happy tears, I'm not disappointed" bless! Obviously I was pleased but I felt a little bit guilty I got what I wanted and he didn't - you can't win! Also couldn't help thinking we might've had both if not for the heterotopic pregnancy
Am a little bit jealous about the nursery chat, we're in a 1 bed flat so babe will be in with us until we can afford to move (which feels like never).
Picked up my free Huggies starter pack from Asda today, 1 pack of newborn nappies and a sample of wipes and little swimmers and £3 in vouchers. Gotta love a freebie :money:Will use the vouchers tomorrow when I pick up my free nappies from Tesco
Right, off to bake cupcakes, can't wait to see (and taste) how the 100's &1000's turn out x0 -
Kindof- definitely go to work. I know exactly what you mean. With so few days off you just want to relax not worry about ILs. So get a diff day off.
Everyone's nurseries ideas are lovely. Ours is a really boring nursery - beige an light brown. With a few stickers on the wall. We have carpet in there. I have gone off laminte as when we moved in it was in the hall where the cats litter tray was and as we pulled it up it reaked because it had all absorbed into the laminate so if I had it anywhere I would be conscious of everything soaking into it.
I had a lot of intention to bake whilst off but as there is only two of us any cakes would last ages, plus don't want to fatten DH up!!
I would like 4 kids but Ill see how we get on with this one first. DH says 3 max so we won't have to get a people carrier lolTegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

I've cleaned the bathroom but don't have the energy to walk to the late shop....might persuade dh to go for me when he gets back from b & q!
Gemma - I know where you're coming from with the tiredness. I'm 14 weeks and work full time as a retail manager. Shop is open 9 - 5.30. I find it virtually impossble to take it easy while I'm there, just way too much of a perfectionist, and hate having to take all my breaks. (I;'ve never bothered before and feel like I;m wasting soooo much time!)
As a consequence I'm coming home exhausted and don;t want to do anything other than lie on the sofa all night! Even struggle to do tea if it's anything more demanding than chicken in a bun lol. Been reading my pregnancy book from the hospital tho and it does say that if you work, not to try and do another job when you get home and let your partner do any cooking/cleaning, which made me feel a bit better
kindof - I can;t believe your IL's still want to come round when your oh has asked them not to!!! How insensitive??? I would maybe try asking again, and if they still insist then change your day off to tues if you can!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Kindof- Can you not tell them outright, No your not welcome round, i am tired. Or something along them lines?
Iheartfreebies - Co-op have quite a few good offers at times, sometimes better then supermarkets
Argh, i need the toilet and this girly seems to be bouncing off my bladder lol x0 -
I have a 10% off card for coop
Just going to put some trackie bottoms on instead of my pjs and walk round for my tiffin ingredients. Although I have just had a toffee apple so not sure if I want any now! I really must get to the dentist soon......

Gill- u sound just like me! It's reassuring to know I'm not the only one. I think it's quite hard getting used to not being able to so as much as u normally do
I went to H&B yesterday to get some RLT, the SA knew when I walked in what I wanted, she showed me where it was, and said that they only ever sell heavily pg women RLT! Just hope I manage to drink it and it does the trick. I like fruit teas so hopefully it won't be too far off that- anyone drinking it at the moment? I know quite a few people recommend it with vimto to make it taste better so I might invest in that tooBoots: £107.xx on AC :j

YAY gymfiend thats great
Ok OH hsa just gone to get wood with his FIL for the cupboard.
They said that they may or may not come tomorrow *rolls eyes* but even if they did come it wont be till after 1.30pm cos they have to pick up BIL from ferry (he's been to Amsterdam) so FIL said there that they then might even have to drop BIL's friends off so it may not be worthwhile them coming tomorrow after all?
So I think I am just gonna have to take the day off as planned and do all my relaxing chilling out stuff in the morning and hope they dont come lol
Ahh I see EA lol you know thats unfinished though dont you? I wish she would finish it? she took a hissy fit and stopped writing it cos it leaked
Whats all this about a Edward USB?? I want lol where can I get lol

Gemma - you will feel tired all through. It is hard to sometimes rest up, especially when you are used to doing so much. Try and get OH to do stuff at home for you so you don't get stressed about doing stuff at home too. my DH was wonderful, esp when i had morning sickness and took over a lot of the tidying (he did the cooking already as he was always home first) so I could rest as soon as I got home. do you manage to have naps?
I am on RL capules cause I hate fruit teas - yuck. Tried a few when i went off coffee but still don't like them. I have now run out of capsules though but don't want to buy a new tub as bubs could be here anytimeTegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

If you like fruit teas you'll probably like it. I think it tastes nice, I just struggle to drink more than two cups a day as it gives me reflux. I currently have a cup or two a day, then make up my quota with the capsules.
Wait till you get to the last month or so and can do nothing! I actually think that the middle part of pregnancy is really hard because you want to carry on as usual, but it's really hard. By the time you get to my stage no-one really expects too much of you, so the pressure is off. If I manage one or two things a day I'm happy- OH is happy if I just cook the tea and do a bit of washing. No way could I do a job as well now.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
