OH is in a foul mood atm and is realy upsetting me...Sorry to moan but I honestly think apart from the crying bit he seems to be the one with the PG hormones
<<<Hugs som>>> although my oh has been an absolute sweetie i have noticed a few things:
    1. up to 20 weeks he couldnt get his head around how hard early pregnancy was
    2. sometimes he is tired / ill himself and feels that he can't cope with things
    3. he likes to do things at a particular time (like prepare lunch) and gets a bit stressed if he is running behind
    4. he worries about the baby / me and the future and that gets to him a bit

i just look him straight in the eyes and say - this anything to do with me / my fault? stop having a go at me then then i find the reason comes out  he does the same to me - after 12 years it still works a treat:D HTH

To get OH to tell me whats bothering him i just ignore him lol. He wont tell me if i constantly ask so if i say "are you ok?" (when he clearly isn't) and he says "yes" I'll go "ok then, love you" and ignore him until he comes over and gives me a hug and tells me hehe

Yeah that sad thing is he is normally really lovely so think thats what makes it worse when he is in a bad mood. I think he is worried about money for Xmas atm tho, have told him I wont be upset if we dont get each other much (we have joint account so we dont have our own money as such). I/we have the best pressie already :D Problem with my OH he is constantly looking at what other people have and feeling sorry for himself/us. I'm the other way and am greateful for what we have as I know others are far worse off.

Hehe, the person who i won the girls bundle has offered me another bundle, but it would be £6 for both, even though i won the first bundle for £1.04, i said no. Mainly cause OH would kill me if i spent any more money.

Also, she wants cash on collection, im going to feel a bit weird giving her £1.04 lol. I wish i could pay via paypal instead x

Mel - I think everyone has a preference, I wanted a girl but OH was desperate for a boy. However, when the sonographer told us she was a girl he burst into tears then hastily added "they're happy tears, I'm not disappointed" bless! Obviously I was pleased but I felt a little bit guilty I got what I wanted and he didn't - you can't win! Also couldn't help thinking we might've had both if not for the heterotopic pregnancy :o

Am a little bit jealous about the nursery chat, we're in a 1 bed flat so babe will be in with us until we can afford to move (which feels like never :o).

I am sorry to hear about the pregnancy. I must admit I wasn't entirely certain what that was, but google just confirmed for me. That must have been terrible for you, I am glad you have a healthy baby growing now though:)

Don't worry about being left out of nursery chat, I am too. I am still not sure about the logistics of fitting all these kids in this house....we may try and move or see about an extension or just cope as we are (which is the[STRIKE]most likely [/STRIKE]cheapest option)

I would like 4 kids but Ill see how we get on with this one first. DH says 3 max so we won't have to get a people carrier lol :D

This is the predicament we now find ourselves in, and we only just bought out current car in September!!!!! Although dh has a motorbike (well two) so If we haven't got round to getting a bigger car by the time new baby is here we will try to limit going out to just whilst older kids are in school and if we are all going somewhere he said he would go on his bike!!!

    Mel x
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

  • We never buy each other much for Christmas (or birthdays come to that).

We tend to get some chocolate or treat type thing, a DVD and maybe some nice bath things. We just like to be together...and this year we'll have out little one with us too!

Some bargains here for next year http://www.marksandspencer.com/Halloween-Kidswear/b/215154031?ie=UTF8&sort=salesrank&pos=emsrch_pag_Page%202&page=2&mnSBrand=core&rh=n%3A215154031&showAll

We've decided this christmas to not spend too much as well, a couple of little gifts and maybe a gadget for the kitchen as a joint pressie. OH fancies a nice coffee machine

Well Ive tidied the spare room, cleaned the bathroom, put the roast on, tidied our bedroom and put the moses basket in there  . Now Im pooped and just want to lie on the sofa and not move for the rest of the night.

My mums rang to say there in the country too and have already stopped off to collect some baby clothes she bought me off ebay :D Apparently their gorgeous, all Next and in immaculate condition. They've got to stop at a couple more places on their way up the country as mums gone ebay bonkers recently, this little belly monkeys gonna have more clothes than I'll ever know what to do with :rotfl: But I'll let them off as they've also brought me pink champagne to wet the babies head once she's arrived  (and several cases of wine for over xmas too :D) It does have its benefits having parents living in France.
    Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j
