Thanks kindof.....I feel fine , I just worry cos have had 2 MC's after I had my first two boys!

I am going to admit something here...I think I want a girl. It is a win, win though cos I would love to have another boy for Kai to grow up with but privately, just for me, I do want a girl....I would never, ever admit that to anyone irl tho:o

I think I would prefer a girl as well redmel, like you it would be winwin either way coz I'd love a little boy, but just really like the idea of growing up with a girl and doing all the girlie stuff that goes with it. I've already warned DH that I will keep having babies until I get a girl lol

I'm telling my Grandma later this afternoon, so it will be all round the family within a few hours :) Most of my close friends know so can officially go public from tomorrow.

gymfiend - you must be very talented. Can we see some pics when you're done? Dh is putting an extra socket in our 'nursery'. It's all stripped so just need to get plaster in and then we can start painting. Have no idea what colour scheme I'm going for. What does everyone think of lino/laminate style flooring for nursery? I'm not usually a fan of it in bedrooms but really like the idea of it in a nursery.

all the stats are on side for a boy too, so I know I need to put all thoughts of having a girl out of my mind!

I hope you all put pics of your nurseries up when they are finished:)

gill - This is #4 for me and dh has insisted he is getting the snippety snip asap after the baby is born ( I think you have to wait 3mths) he was never keen on having any kids!!!!!!!!!! So I would have no chance of keeping going to get a girl...although I doubt I would do that anyway...I don't enjoy giving birth THAT much!!!

Gill we've got wooden floorboards in the nursery and a big rug in the middle of the room. We're in a rented house which is why we've done all the painting on canvases as everywheres boring neutral magnolia. Im hoping it'll be better having the wooden floor as easier to clean any spills etc but still got the rug so not too cold underfoot. I may change my mind once we actually start using it though :rotfl:

Everyone knew I wanted a girl and OH wanted a boy when we first got our BFP but obviously would of been over the moon with either, I was so convinced I was having a boy though that I went and bought a few boy bits before the 20 week scan. Id really got my head around having a boy so was gobsmacked when the sonographer said its a girl. And my sisters having a boy in March so I can pass the boy bits Id already bought onto her.

I'd love to say I was talented Gill but I've just copied it from an imagine I found online :D The tree is like this so really linear - drew it with a ruler!! & the birds I did from a stencil I found online :D Really hope it doesn't look pants once we paint it!!

We're putting laminate in our nursery - same as the one we have in our lounge/kitchen diner - I'm not keen on it in bedrooms generally but think it's quite nice in nurserys & easy to clean! We've bought a really bright green rug from Ikea to put by the drawers to add a splash of colour too.
