    oooh shiny new thread

Morning.. I mean afternoon all. Been up a while as still struggling with sleep.

Yay - it is my due date today. Think I'll put on FB that I shall not be on now until after baby arrives so no point posting anything on there (can't remember who did that but thought it sounds a good idea) although will obviously be on here and will prob update here before FB unless family does before me.

Thanks for all your thoughts. I have to say i didnt mind the 4 hours in the delivery suite cause I knew the alternative was to be up worrying all night about bump. I had really hoped to have baby on time so that I could rub it in to all the people who say "the first baby is always late"! So guess unless things really pick up today guess mine is going to be a late baby.

The only thing is I haven't planned anything this week. Not sure if I should maybe arrange lunch or something with friends, but worried about standing them up??? I shall prob go to aquanatal maybe tomorrow and wednesday if I feel awake enough.

Hope you all have a nice Sunday, as it is raining and windy here I'm just going to watch the F1 (although I usually fall asleep part way through since I have been pregnant) and maybe have a bath and generally chill out. Plus eat sweets as we didn't end up seeing a single trick or treater as we were out :D

Labour vibes and hugs to all in need. xx
Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

    Afternoon

    Happy due date Karen!

Lots of labour vibes for you Helen :D

Impressed by everyones baking efforts - think OH might fall down with shock if I suddenly became domesticated and made a cake :rotfl: So wish I could, but the couple of times I've tried they've been rubbish :o

Exciting day in our house - OH got to see baby kick this morning :D He had a real spurt of wriggling for about half an hour, every other time I've seen OH hasn't got to me in time to see so he was really pleased :D Ooh & now we're decorating the nursery, OH wasn't convinced I'd be able to draw/paint a picture on the walls, but I've done a tree & 3 swallows in marker & it looks good. Just gonna paint over with white now then start on painting the pictures - debating whether to do the tree in a dark grey & birds in bright orange/red, or whether to do the tree in orange and the birds in blue...got some really dark grey leftover from our room so think we might be :money: and do that! Must admit I'm mega excited now we're getting on with it :)

100's&1000's in a cake are great. I used to buy a cake kit that had that in, with the lovliest chocolate icing :D
They no longer do it anymore:(
