Housing benefit question....it basically means you can't claim it to pay a relative rent, it is best just to see how much you would be entitled to and look for a property around that amount....you will need to google LHA amount for your area and it is based on amount of people living in the property. So for you, partner and baby you would be 'entitled' to 2 bedrooms, it will then give you a figure for that amount. You can apply for it the minute you get you tenancy signed with a moving in/contract start date......did you say your partner is currently on jsa?? if so then you would be automatically entitled to the full amount of LHA and council tax benefit for you rarea...hth

I have my 16wk check in the morning, well I am actually 15wks but the appt is slightly early as that is all that was available. They will be doing bloods for ds tests and have to be minimum of 15wks for that so will be ok:) I find mw appts soooo boring, maybe it's because I have no questions and have done it 3 times before, I don't know, but I can't really be bothered going tbh! Ah well, will do my pee in the pot and turn up:) I have been feeling movement (i think) I feel it then don't for a day or so and begin to wonder if I imagined it lol x Roll on February, I want my scan!!!!

Oh and sizes, I go the size of a house and do have big babies!! I hope this one isn't much bigger than the others though....please

Guess in that case I should set up a viewing. I think LHA round here for 2 bed is around 411.... and this one was 375 so we'd be ok...

Yeah ive seen quite a few with "hands off my bump"

I just really liked this one coz it had "seriously" written underneath it....

Cafc. I'm crap at meeting new people but it sounds as though we could both benefit from a coffee sometime (you're still up here aren't ya?) to have a good old rant about everything! Hope you feel more chilled soon xx

I've not had anyone touch me, except OH and my siblings. I had to assure IL's that i was fully ok with them touching my bump when i asked them to hehe.

Evening everyone!Cngrats to Jonno on the birth of your little one.10 mins of 2nd stage sds v impressive,I was pushing for an hour and a half last time,so with that in mind I am sat drinking my first ever cup of RLT.It's not bad actually.I'm thinking of adding a spoonful of sugar in it though.
Speedy labour vibes to pp-you go girl!
Hope JHA is ok,presuming silence is good and means she's preoccupied with babyand recovery?
It was the 2nd day of pre school for dd and so far she totally loves it,which is fab.My baby is growing up so quickly!I remember bringing her home from the hospital and thinking oh my god!

I feel a bit better now, having just left DH to his stupid tv prog and escaped upstairs. I had planned on locking myself in the bathroom but my sister got in there first....
Just decided that evidently I will have to organise most things so Im gonna find say 5 houses I like the look of, ring, arrange a viewing, tell him when we're going and then see what we like and then get everything rolling.

ARGH when its talk of tea, I'm there like a shot LOL
With fruit tea, i always found the best sweetner to add into it is honey, rather than caster sugar... it tastes really "odd"...
I used to work for a tea company and regularly sold it to women on the brink :rotfl:
