    Hi all

Hope everyone is OK, speedy labour vibes to PP and JHA, hopefully I'll be joining them soon!

32B how r u feeling now? Its understandable that you are feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment- you are a tower of strength and so much stronger then me. I hope things change shortly x

Stef- sorry to hear your news, hopefully you will be back here soon

Um, can't remember anything else- sorry brain has truly turned to mashed potato now- does it go back to normal once you have the baby??

I had the hosp for the last time yesterday and MW for the last time today, both the MWs I have seen the most are going to come and see me on Friday when I've been induced and gave me a hug which was really nice, also baby is now 4/5 engaged so hopefully will make things a bit easier on Friday! Still haven't quite got my head around the fact that I am going to have a baby this time next week, is that really silly?

  • Tinkwings, it is completely normal, your body has done the stretching before already so it does seem to just pop out as soon as things start expanding inside and hormones too.I'm 23+5 with my 4th and although i'm a size 8/10 my belly seemed to expand so quickly and I'm prob as big now as I was full term with my 1st pg :( Also movements seem soooo much stronger-really can't believe she's still got 16 weeks growth! Arghh

    Evening all

Returned from a fruitless journey into town for my photo album/scrapbook. One I saw online ended up looking really naff in rl, so didnt bother, am really annoyed because ive planned out a few pages now.... pants!

Have had stretching pains all over bump today, must have had a 24 hour growth spurt. My lovely sort of Bro-in-law pointed out to me earlier that I look like Ive doubled in size since he saw me last night..... and hes actually right!!!

Got a good book out of library today called first time parent...... and I cried... for about 10 pages just cried and cried at the thought of being a mum, and labour, and breastfeeding and trying not to drop baby!

Hi gemma glad you are well, can't believe you are in on Fri to have bubs, time fly's.

Your memory dose return but i swear it sneaks up on you, first couple of weeks your all over the place struggling to remember everything bubs needs then suddenly your half way to the shops and realize everything you needed was sorted without even thinking, and of course you'll experience Robotic mum syndrome where you are literally doing things in auto pilot lol

Made that sound like fun didn't I lol

And second plus pregnancies you do show more/earlier. I thought i was just being a pig and eating to much and spent the summer on a health food drive trying to tone my belly and lose excess weight, whoops it was a baby:rotfl:

Im usually in a "please dont even think about touching me" mood :p

Oooh apparently flash warnings have been issued for Portsmouth with the snow. Starting from 6pm tonight until 11am tomorrow. I might get up early to make a snowman :j (if the snow reaches over the hill at all)

LOL in 2 weeks, me and OH really cant remember the last time we dtd, I think it was before the 20 week scan even lol

Ditto on the seeming massive EA, if he continues growing (which he will:eek:) I dont know what I am going to look like lol

Awww cafc bless you, hormones hit you sometimes dont they lol I can cry so easily!!!! (a couple of times I will have been laughing so much cos OH has been tickling me and then all of a sudden the laughs turn into tears, I mean !!!!!!?)

Well I had my 31 week appointment today and Elliot is no longer measuring big (he has been a week ahead the last two times he was measured) so he is measuring 31 now (so !!!! off everyone at work who loves to tell me I am MASSIVE, which I was told about 5 times today!!)

Blood tests are fine, iron is fine, glucose is fine, pee is fine, baby is fine :) I got a gold star lol.

Am starting to get uncomfortable already (the dreaded rib ache) so will be hoping to evict him anytime after 37 weeks lol!

    argh. Mini rant ahead...

Really, what on earth makes people think that it's OK to come up and molest your belly?! I don't understand it and I've never been compelled to do the same to anyone else. I'm 16 weeks now and funnily enough, yes, my belly has grown some (difficult to do as it was never small in the first place :o) but that does not give people at work a license to poke at it! I'm not really a touchy feely kind of person with most folk either so it's doubly grating. That, and I've generally been in a grump/tearful/tired all day so I think I may be taking the huff more than I maybe should about it.

    [I'll quit complaining now]

    hope everyone is well
