Thats partly why Im staking claim to a maternity t-shirt ive seen online that says "hands off my bump (seriously)"
My sort of bro in law's mum was round on christmas, and Ive met her once before, literal introduction, she comes in xmas day, and was saying "ooooh look at you filling out nicely" and then groping me!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
as a complete aside does anyone know much about housing benefit and council tax benefit?
Im desperately trying to figure out if im/we're entitled or not, DH on JSA me on nothing as I cant figure out what to claim yet LOL, but it says if ur living with a close relative you cant claim, now does that mean you cant claim for rent you might be paying them?! (so confused!) or you cant claim if you're living with family but (desperately) trying to move into privately rented?Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
CAFC- my council website has a calculator for those things.
If you google "(your city came) council housing benefit calculator" something might come up
OMG just had a pepsi max (half price in the co-op) and it was lush
Kindof - I have never been measured at any of my appointments. I will ask doc to do it on thurs but i doubt he will.
I have a massive list of things to ask him about, would it appear rude if i said "the reason the list is so massive is cause the midwife knows nothing and tells me to ask you."
Im happy, i heard that the birthing centre im due to give birth in has opened on time, when do i book a visit?0 -
Ive tried that but it just tells me how much I would be entitled to, if I was eligible to claim, not if I am i fact eligible in the first place....
Its mainly because I've seen a property I quite like on the internet, and might arrange a viewing, is a good amount of space for us, is the correct number of rooms it allows you etc etc, and I really (for the sake of my sanity) need to feel like we're moving forward. I dont want to be living in my sisters house 6 months pregnant, or moving for that matter. We need time to get everyone settled (inc our dog whose living at my parents for the time being), and prepare for baby....
God, I feel so rubbish, just sat here crying because im so confused and feel like Im desperate, and my life is just not going how I imagined it......Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

Really EA youve never been measured? Ive been measured at 25, 28 and 31 weeks and will be getting measured at 34, 36, 38, and 40 they have to measure you to know if you are measring big etc and if yiu need a growth scan
CAFC I would just apply for everything it tells you that yo might be entuitled to?

Cafc the best place to call is your jobcentre plus, I was on jsa and OH wAS oN nothing and we had help woth housing and council benefit , don't forget they set a certain amount now of rent allowance not the size of the roperty.
To be honest I would get a appointment with your local benefits office , or CAB, or even a shelter'centre, or even call your local shelter as they are great and helped me out a hello of a lot when I left my ex with all benefits I was entitled to. HTHDont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0 -
hope you can understand my above post as on mobile and keypad quite smallDont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0

I'm glad I'm not the only one then kindof...it's just itchy everywhere though not just my belly.0

Kindof - No they have never measured me
I tried doing it myself but i couldn't work out where the top of my uterus was lol.
CAFC - Were going to apply for everything and then at least they can say "no your not entitled" rather than me not knowing at all.
eta: OH just called to tell me to look outside...AND ITS SNOWING!!!
Actual real snow in Portsmouth
He has to get home at 11pm tonight on a bicycle, so im completly worried now lol0
