    Hi All!!

Sorry not managed to get on before, just wanted to let you know Baby Girl Jonno arrived on 03-01-10 at 12.01pm after a long and very slow induction. This was started nearly 2 days after my waters broke. However, I can't complain as I was actually only in official labour for about 10 hours, and second satge was only about 10 mins and three small pushes :eek:

She is 7.11 1/2 oz and as yet has no name!!!

I will post full birth story when I get more time and let you know when I have. Massive labour vibes to jha and PP, hope you are having mummy cuddles as I type. Thanks for all your vibes folks, it is absolutely the best feeling in the world, it shouldn't be called birth - it should be called how to fall in love in 1 second!:j

I word of advice - I was told all along I was massive and going to have a huge baby, by every man and his dog it seemed, even the midwife who induced me told me that my baby was very big, she looked even more worried when my DH walked in who is 6'4" I shouldn't have been concerned as I wouldn't class 7.11 as 'huge', so all those who have been told this - hang on to the realisation that this might not be the case! ;)

Will be back on soon when I have some more time x x

    Hey all!

    Another update on PP.

She had a scan this afternoon to check on baby and all is ok, things had slowed down so she was going to be moved from the delivery suite but contractions have picked up again, now every 7/8mins apart and getting stronger so she's staying put! She's been waiting all afternoon to be examined and doctor still hasn't appeared  Poor thing has been going over a day now!

Everyone send her quick labour vibes please :rotfl:

I'll updated when I know more ;) Hopefully the next one will be to say he's here :j xx

Congratulations jonno, i'm in the same boat as you i have no idea what to call little one when he is born and OH's best was calling him after him :confused:no way lol he shares his name with his dad and a step bro so their is no way in @@@@ i'm naming bubs after them lol.

And on the big bump = big baby that really is a joke, when i was pregnant with DS (second baby) everyone said i was going to have another little one DD was 4,13:eek: so picture the complete shock when i went into labor and was asked at the desk if i was full term (looked about 6mths), then when he was born and weighed Well lets just say at 8,13 he wasn't exactly small, glad I was lying down :rotfl:

oh and the Tshirts with hands off my bump are on ebay,

Sarah-jane thanks for the update hope it progresses well for her, and we all hope it is very quick.

    Hi

Only read back to last page.

I see PP is still hanging abot in hospital, I hope something is starting to get moving for her now. No word from jha, hopefully that is good news and she has had baby now:)

Congrats jonno on safe arrival of baby:)

    Congrats on baby girl Muso:D

Housing benefit question....it basically means you can't claim it to pay a relative rent, it is best just to see how much you would be entitled to and look for a property around that amount....you will need to google LHA amount for your area and it is based on amount of people living in the property. So for you, partner and baby you would be 'entitled' to 2 bedrooms, it will then give you a figure for that amount. You can apply for it the minute you get you tenancy signed with a moving in/contract start date......did you say your partner is currently on jsa?? if so then you would be automatically entitled to the full amount of LHA and council tax benefit for you rarea...hth

    ME
I have my 16wk check in the morning, well I am actually 15wks but the appt is slightly early as that is all that was available. They will be doing bloods for ds tests and have to be minimum of 15wks for that so will be ok:) I find mw appts soooo boring, maybe it's because I have no questions and have done it 3 times before, I don't know, but I can't really be bothered going tbh! Ah well, will do my pee in the pot and turn up:) I have been feeling movement (i think) I feel it then don't for a day or so and begin to wonder if I imagined it lol x Roll on February, I want my scan!!!!

Oh and sizes, I go the size of a house and do have big babies!! I hope this one isn't much bigger than the others though....please
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Thanks for all the advice. DH has to sign on thurs so may see if I can talk to anyone whilst we're there...

Although to be honest im really fed up with him this evening, im trying to talk to him about houses, and can he read up about housing benefit and see if it makes sense to him and he just starts chatting about carp to do with xbox game.... hes seriously doing my nut in with this pregnancy, and im getting really impatient and fed up with him. He never wants to talk about it, wont engage in a conversation with me, its like everything is just left for me......

argh sorry to rant, i'll go back in my corner.....

massive speedy labour vibes to pp, poor thing, hope you and bub are home soon xx

32b - I have been moved to tills atm, and hopefully will stay there now till I leave cos its deffinatley easier, but being mothercare is not that easy. With all the large and bulky items coming thru and cutomers asking you to get stuff for them tis not easy, not so bad if I have help but occasionaly due to staffing am on my own. Did get a chair today but if we are busy not so much chance to sit as our tills are too high!

Kindof - Glad the appt went well and yeay for gold star :D Most of the travel cots are the same size (all the ones we do now are) but I know there are other sizes out there, as far as I know Hauck are the same as mothercare tho.

SJ - thanks for the support, so nice knowing am gonna have two day off now and only have Friday to get thru x

Esio - sorry your being treated like public property, so far havent experianced this but I think thats cos I can be a bit scary to some folks hehe, has its uses! Anyone who has had a feel has always asked first :D

Nikkit - sorry to hear your uncomfy sleeping, could it be cramp? And yeay for getting your dates changed :D

Sarah-Jane - Thanks for the up date x

Gemma - cant believe its come around that fast, best of luck x

CAFC - sorry the scrap book wasnt what you wanted, I have one that I really need to make a start on, maybe you can lend me your ideas hehe. Sorry the book made you cry x hugs x Oh and no idea about benifits, sorry.

EA - haha to Lily knowing what you and OH are up to, so far baby girl has behaved whenever we DTD. Oh and ya I'd tell the doc why you have a big list if you feel that way. I've been measured but size was only written on my notes at 28 weeks, other times have been told she is fine.

PP - huge whopping fast labour vibes, oh and easy too xx

Jonno - big congrats, keep us updated x

Nova - my itching seems to have gotten worse with the weather, agree its sooo annoying!

jha - hope your well, easy labour vibes for you x

Well started snowing here and seems to be settling, glad am not working the next two days, hope antenatal doesnt get cancelled tomorrow tho, eek! As for size have been told by a few peeps am big but as thats not what MWs are saying I dont give a stuff what other peeps say.
