  • Hello everyone.

Well i managed to read 50 pages yesterday but didnt want to miss out on any current news so have read the posts from yesterday and will catch up with all the others when i have the time!

Good luck PP and i hope things are going well for JHA..big labour vibes from me.

The snow has fallen here although its not too bad and has started to fall again. Still dont know if i am going to go out and risk it as my cructhes are an added problem :-(

Currently 17wks here and i am still feeling very nervous about the whole pregnancy thing. I just want to be able to enjoy the whole experience but i feel that if i start to relax something will go wrong. I know i am being silly...think i just need to get a grip!!

Have got to go to a hypertension clinic on thurs as i have "white coat syndrome". Everytime i have my bp taken at the dcs it is stupidly high even though when i take it at home it is normal!!!! Arrgh.

I am also still feeling really sick...it seems to be getting worse not better. Not being able to cook is making me feel really guilty as oh does so much and works so hard i feel its the least that i could do for him. Hes not complained at all but i just feel im letting the side down :-(

Sorry for the moan...will promise i will cheer up now!!

    xx

  • Afternoon all! Hope everyones ok. I'm joining the lack of sleep department today. Had a cold all weekend and last night I kept waking up several times every hour cos I couldn't breathe my mouth was so dry. Think it was also nerves about my scan this morning! Had a 9am appointment. We left an hour and a half to get there and park (its only a 40 min journey). Traffic was so bad DH had to drop me off at the door at 9 before he went to park. Then I got lost trying to find my way round the hospital as had to go to different department than normal cos we're taking part in a study. Anyway, to cut the waffle, baby is looking just right for the dates and all looks healthy. Was being a bit tempermental, kept crossing arms over chest so couldn't get heart measurements and then kept curling legs up so seeing the bits was difficult. They think it's a girl! although they won't commit to it. There deffo wasn't any obvious boy bits though! So if someone in the know could update me to being on team pink on the list that would be lovely!

    Muso x

    Hi again all

PP is still waiting (not so) patiently in hospital. She's having a scan to check on the baby soon. She's having contractions every 10 minutes but not much else seems to be happening for now. I'll keep you all updated when I know more :)

    Hi all,
I really should not have bothered worrying about the kids getting to school DD didn't make it through the gates, very annoyed by that as i checked the web site and everything and it said nothing(just checked again and nothing), I then got a call from DS's school for him to be picked up as the heating had packed up, so both of them are running in and out to heat up after snowball fights lol no idea if the schools will be on tomorrow? oh well.
