What do I wash them on??? I'm thinking 40 or do I need to give them a hotter wash to get them really clean and then just normal washes when shes in them?

Evening ladies. Well I think the nesting has officially begun!!! Not been on today (my first official day of ML! Whoop whoop!) as I have been out to argos to pick up some of those fab shelving/ drawer things that PP so kindly linked to yesterday (last set in Leeds too so was lucky to get them!), sorted out all baby's clothes by size, put them away in drawers temporarily until furniture arrives, cleaned kitchen, taken down all xmas decs and put away, tidied dining room, taken loads of crap to the skip, washed 3 loads of baby's stuff that we got in that big ebay bundle (cotbed sheets, curtain tie backs, blankets, cot bumper etc), changed sheets on our bed, put away all our towels as they had just been piled in baby's room and been out for dinner with my grandparents!!!

Think I've done ok today! Still feel like I have loads to do to get the house in order but certainly feel like I've made a good start! I should mention I did all this with DH. He would be mad if I took all the credit!! Ha ha!!

Will go back and catch up now but did read the last page before posting and good on you Kindof for having the conversation with your mum. Glad it went well and must be nice not having to worry now!!

OH wont let me walk across ice lol. He knows im the clumsiest person ever. He even takes sharp knifes off me sometimes.... lol

My DH is really clumsy, he always wnats to hold me in case I fall on the ice but I wontt cos he slips all the time when we're walking along! He's more of a hazard than the ice!!

Same here. My name is Kylie (note the same name as a VERY famous person...)
And i've had cards spelt "Killie" "kily" and "kyli"

    Or this convo comes about..

Person: Can i have your name?
    Me: Kylie
    P: Heidi?
    Me: Kylie..
    P: Chloe?
    Me: Kylie..
    P: Carly?
    Me: No! Kylie. K-Y-L-I-E
    P: Kayleigh...?
    Me:....

That's funny cos my sister's name is Carly and she ALWAYS gets Kylie instead!!!

Hope PP is ok and on her way to mummy cuddles, will read back now and find out what's going on, and if Jha has any news too!!!! :T

    Hey all
Just to let you know PP is in hospital, she's having obs every 2hrs, as soon as the neck of her womb is open they're going to break her waters for her to get baby out because they can't figure out where the blood is coming from. I'll let you know of any further updates unless she's back sooner :p But it looks like she's in to have him now :j

Re Arnica, tablets are recommended as it’s a lot easier that getting cream on the parts of you that are bruised ;) IYSWIM!!!

Thanks Aless, yes that does help. I remember you saying about the grazes being opposite each other now and the possibility of fusing! Scary!!

Kindof, did you get that Hauck travel cot? I told my mum about it cos she wants a travel cot for her house so I think I'm going to our local BabiesRUs tomorrow to get it for her. Edit: just seen you bought it! Do you like it?

1more I only had 1 dating scan, and that was at 12 weeks so maybe your 9 week one was the only one you get?

Musogirl yey for being punched!! LOL! And good luck for the scan tomorrow :T

EA I'm with you on the hospital bag (although hopefully I won;t have to use mine!) I started packing it today – well, I put in a pack of nappies and a pack of maternity pads!!

Aww 3 sorry you fell out with your mum. My family have a lot going on at the moment too and I seem to be the one everyone turns to so I know it’s hard. Not sure what else to say but hope you are ok and you can make up with your mum

Stef sorry it was so awful at the hospital. It’s amazing that people get treated like that, especially when you are in a vulnerable state anyway. Hope you are ok.

Fishcake Hello :hello: nice to see you back!! Hope that life thing has been treating you well! And I would think 40 wash would be fine for baby clothes. Only thing I seem to remember being the important bit is not to use fabric softener on them. I did all my cot sheets / sleeping bags etc on a 40 wash today.

Twinkles hope you are ok! I fell down the stairs at 14 weeksish and it scared the hell out of me. Hope you didn’t bang your bump. Make sure you go get checked out of you need to. ;)

PP glad you rang the hospital straight away. Good luck and hope to hear some baby news soon!!!!

Sarah Jane thanks for the update! Pass on our wishes to PP if you speak to her again won’t you. I'm so glad she’s going to meet her little boy soon!! :T

3 that wasn’t me with the update on PP!! :p Ha ha!! I can see how the mix up could happen though!! And yes I'm enjoying not making cupcakes for anyone else, but I did make some just for fun yesterday!! Made chocolate, banana and hazelnut cupcakes which was a new recipe I was trying out (and was really good if I do say so myself!!) and I also made some rocky road bars which were also quite yummy!!

Thank you, a massive weight off my shoulders :)

Ah thats ok then as long as bubs is wriggling away :) I hope your pelvis gets better, Ive had that bad as well and its not nice, I think Elliot has moved cos my legs arent hurting as much as they were.

Som - I am the same lol he has had something there for a couple of weeks now, it was wiggling this morning, I am going to ask MW tonight if she knows what body part it is lol

On the name spelling, I just know someone will spell Elliot wrong, cos there is different ways, I have spent my whole life having my name spelt wrong Rachael really isnt that hard lol I am used to it now lol

Thanks SJ :) it is nice, I can look forward to being on Mat Leave and not have to worry too much, I will still worry till I know how she is getting to work lol but I need to remember she is a grown woman lol I am pathetic sometimes lol

Thanks for the update on Sarah Jane PP :) I hope all goes well with her

SJ - We havent actually put it up :o but I will tonight for you :) I loved the one in the shop, but I think it needs another mattress cos its quite thin, which is ok if you are using it as a playpen or at grandma's occasionaly but we are going to use it for Elliots main sleeping area till he is in his own cot

    Morning all :)

SOOOOOOOOOOO much snow, it took us 55 minutes to get here and it normally takes 30 mins!

I am at MW today for 31 week appointment.

    I hope all is well

And massive labour vibes :) to everyone who needs them xxx

    Morning all,

Well OH is in a right strop, he got up and seen alot of schools are off today because of the snow so he thought he could just assume the schools would be off, What he didn't bargain on was me still being in a mood because of things that are going on(he's been a bit of a selfish pig lol) And i have made him take them, i checked my email and the schools websites and their is nothing on them about closures,

Glad I'm on the final stretch as i can't take all this feelings on the surface stuff, I'm usually the one thats all smiles and a tower of strength for everyone but i've turned into a blubbering fool that can't put up with anything. I cried over dirty dishes last night:eek: even though i know he will only do the dishes if i ask him too he wont take the initiative that they need done:confused:

Hope PP and Jha are OK has anyone heard from Gemma or Jonno recently, Vibes to everyone.
