Sorry Mrs Buble not much advice as everybody seems to suffer in different ways and there fore different stuff works for them. I usually find a nice long hot shower makes me feel better tho.

They have asked for a full bladder, so I'm guessing they'll try the tummy first - don't fancy the alternative

Have a super full bladder! lol. What i did for this one was not go to the toilet for like 4 hours beforehand and had a small glass of water.
I find it easier to not empty my bladder rather than fill it :o:rotfl:

I had the 'dildo' scanner, they just put lube on and shove it up. Not very nice :( :rotfl:

What has she done? to her.
  • Hello ladies..went to the dr today for the first time, not much happened other than she took my blood pressure, asked if I smoked and if I was taking folic acid.

She said I was nearly 5 weeks, and that I'd get a letter referring me to the hospital for my first check up at around week 11.

I asked if my age was a factor (I'm 36), but she said it's only women of 37 and over that they monitor more carefully..?? One of my friends was told it is over 35, so I guess it differs from dr to dr.

I'm due a follow up colposcopy in April following laser treatment for dodgy cells in my cervix earlier this year, but she said they may well postpone that now.

So guess there's not much more I can do for the forseeable future. Feeling very tired in the evenings and getting some crampy period type pains coming and going..quite snappy with OH too...he'd prob say whats new there then though! :p

  • i might try a hot bath, see if that helps....

The shower at the house we're in, is enclosed so theres not much air flow and i get short of breath and faint....

Also is it normal to feel your baby move, and then not for a long period of time?
Im pretty sure i was feling movements, usually when i was laying down in bed or bath, esp later at night but now it seems like nothing....

Is anything known to stir baby up a bit?
    :p Baby Buble due June 2010 :p

  • ooh!!!! how exciting an ad went on freecycle this morning for 8 recycling bags full of baby clothes, bedding, blankets, and towels of boys and girls clothes aged 0-3 years!

I emailed them and asked for them and said that anything that i couldnt use i would either pass on to friends or put back on freecycle.

Didnt hear anything all day so thought i hadnt got them the lady has just emailed me back asking for my address saying she is going to deliver them in the next half an hour!! :j :j :j

Kerry? lol. Thats not even anything like your name!

I would of refused the blood tests unless she could tell me what they are for.

And also, have you thought about a sneaky home birth, ie: Just dont go into hospital and call at the last minute? :D

Im sure they cant refuse you one though

And woohoo for the freecycle stuff!!! I have to stick our old dyson on there, its broke but im sure it could be used for parts. I just cant be bothered yet :o

Currently using my new steamer to steam some vegetables for me :D
    Im well excited lol

Have thought about the sneaky home birth not sure i could do it without the gas and air though but will see how i go :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I love my steamer i only ever seem to use it at xmas though  Probably coz its a massive 3 tier one its easier just to steam a few veg for me n the girls in the microwave :rotfl::rotfl:
