Yay for the camera Som
we are hoping to get a camcorder, I know we can use our cameras till we can afford one though.
Ok here are the pics of the dresser, let me know what you think, I plan on having nappies in the shelve on the right and now I am thinking of putting the contents of the Johnsons Box on the left shelf in a wicker basket
And these are just to show how I cant resist lol (in my defence 90% of the clothes were given to us)
And this is some stuff we couldnt resist getting for Elliot, we are hoping he will fit in this for his Christmas Day outfit
And a coat I love lol
And finally (I promise lol) a pic of Bump

and they both sat here quietly playing on them :j :j
Just need to get the youngest ones either replaced or repaired now was looking online and it says to try cleaning the screen with a dry toothbrush so i will try that first have found the replacement screens on ebay for £3 but then i need to find somewhere that will fit it cheaplyall the repair places on ebay want like £25 to replace a screen  if i cant find one then im going to try taking it back i guess but that wont replace it and then i need to try and find another one for £40

EA - you mind your self on that door, Im guessing you keep it closed to keep the cat out! Oh and big grrr at your dad, I'm glad I never rely on mine for anything he's just the same!
Yeah, im trying to train him that our room and the baby's room are out of bounds. And i also cant sleep with the door open, not to sure why lol.
Gym - Ouch!! How did you do that??
Kindof - for clothes, but i think i may have more or about the same, and i bought most of mine so i cant say that people gave them to us...:o
But yeah i like the idea of the wicker basket.
I think we're going to store nappys in the top section of the wardrobe and on the shelf above the door and then just have some in a baby box to keep in the living room, so i dont have to take her all the way to the nursery for changes.
I think we're moving at the end of the contract, so she might not even sleep in her room lol.
Nice bump!0 -
Just rang the shop that i brought the other ds from and they are saying without the actual receipt there is nothing they can do about it not even if i take my bank statement in with me to prove i paid for it0

Wow Kindof your nursery looks fab, love his wardrobe full of clothes
& the Next coat is so cute! Enjoy Toys R Us
I'm ok thanks - slipped on ice on Sunday and must've landed on my elbow, somehow managed to spend the day shopping before I realised the pain really was that bad and I'd have to go to hospital! Spent a good 5 hours in a&e with the Jeremy Kyle lot to be told the bone from my elbow to wrist had split  It's not that bad today compared to the last few so hoping I've turned a cornerNYE plans are scuppered as I can't drive, but could've been much worse I guess!
Lovely scan pics Luce
SJ I'm impressed you managed to not buy anything, I don't think I'm capable of leaving a baby shop without anything at the moment!!
Lol Tink story about your daughter reminded me of when my little sis was about 2, she smeared a whole tub of vaseline into her hair - she looked like she'd been washed in oil for weeks!!
New camera looks fab Som
PP glad you've got your DD's sorted with a DS each, enjoy the peace!!
Polka & Tink, try not to worry too much, I remember the whole time up til 12 weeks thinking I'd made it all up! Still felt the same between 12 and 20, and sometimes even now at 30 weeks!
On the baby front I think we're all ready now, how scary! Bought the car seat on boxing day as we drive past M&P's to get to OH's dads - it's the pro sleep seat with the base & we got the adapters for the pushchair too, we picked it because it lies flat so figured it'd be useful when visiting people. Got the footmuff for the pushchair too so seems we're all sorted, eek! We were glad to be ready on Sunday though as we were scared baby might be making an early entrance after my fall - he went very quiet and we were sent to the labour ward before they'd deal with my arm, thankfully he's fine thoughBaby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
EA does your cat not try & get in the room still? Ours are little b*ggers, the bigger one opens the door & they get into bed with us in the middle of the night, I've no idea what to do with them!Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0

Have edited signature with bumps due date. Spent most the morning navigating the internet to sign up to Emma's Diary, Hipp, Heinz, Huggies and Pampers all for the freebies, cant think of anymore atm as mind going to mush. Dh is on a cleaning mission and anything he passes is getting bleached, vacc'd or mopped as well as cooking lunch for me and 3 kids - i think i can just about handle this for the next 8 months lol.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j
DD 1994, DS 1996 AND DS 1997
Lost 3st 5lb with Slimming world so far!!0 -
Tinkwings thanks-I was beginning to think Id never get here;) Still petrified-but I have a scan booked for Tuesday (6+2) so hopefully I'll feel better then-its funny, my friend from school who tried with me and had an mc two weeks after mine in march, is having her scan on Tuesday too (12+2)
PP Is it the tooth that hurts or the gum? Vanilla extract is VERY good for sore gums-just dip your finger in some and rub it on. I used this for DS when he teethed as he was so sensitive to medicine.Sorry about the ds too
Kindof I think Im jealousWe aren't planning on buying anything clothes wise-if its a boy, we have LOADS of stuff-DS and my friends little boy-before I had the mc she brought round all his newborn stuff. If its a girl, DF has a colleague whos little girl just turned one and he's offered us all her clothes. But I am going to start stocking up on the bath bits as soon as I feel comfortable. We onl have a shower so will have to find a stand (still have a baby bath)...I like the wicker basket too.
OH MY WORD... cheeky s**! DS has just come rushing over yelling "mom, mom, pause the hephalump movie! I Need a wee!" He's almost 4 and he must have see it a million times before:rotfl:
Right, no call yet-think Im going to head out and hope they try my mobile if Im still out.
ETA: Thanks GYM, and hope your elbows on the mend soon.0
