    Thank You gill x:A

How come you had a 8 Week scan seems like some people do as a regular course & others done. It is just a odd time I guess to know you are but it not be causing any changes YET! Flash forward a few weeks when I will be on here complaining that I feel rubbish!!:o:o

    You are wonderful ladies :A

I had spotting at 5 weeks and both midwife and doctor said to go to a& e if it happened again. It happened again at 8 weeks so went to a & e who referred me for emergency scan. Was a very scary time but so worth it to see my little bean - was definitely one of the most amazing moments of my life when we heard that heartbeat! I think sometimes ladies who've had previous miscarriages or problems conceiving get referred for early scans though

Luce - glad your scan went well :)

gymfiend - I wondered where you'd been. Aless has put pics on (it's a facebook link) as has Beenie, but we're still waiting for Maz ;) [STRIKE]How did you break your elbow???[/STRIKE] Hope it's not too painful for you.

kindof - is that a proper baby wardrobe? Where did you get it from?

    .

stef - make sure you join the aptamil baby club for your free cuddly polar bear - he's gorgous!! There;s a free cow with cow and gate as well but the polar bear is better.

    Hi all,

I haven't been on for a while as we have had loads of visitors over Christmas. There is so much on here to catch up with now!!

Congrats to all new babies that I have managed to miss!

Just been for 22 week scan today and the consultant also went through the results of my amnio (I live in France so we have different scan dates over here). All is fine and the consultant went into so much detail during the scan and pointed out absolutely everything. Also the amnio showed up no anomalies so thats great news.

Also we hae been told we are now on TEAM PINK.

This is to add to already 2 DD's and 1 DS. I was convinced the baby was going to be a girl for some reason, but DH had hoped for a boy to even up the numbers a bit!

Hope to pop in more often!
DD1 born May 2002, DD2 born Dec 2005, DS born Dec 2008. Baby due May 2010! TEAM PINK!!

Avon Rep in France - started 23.10.09

Am guessing it'll more than likely be an internal this early on, as for advice theres isnt really much to know, have they asked you to have a full or empty bladder at the scan?

I'm due for a scan tomorrow I'll be 7+1, does anyone have any advice, I'm not sure if its external or internal when scanned this early

With my first pregnancy which i miscarried, i was 8 weeks and had an internal scan.

With this one i thought i was 8 weeks, and had the scan on the belly (sorry cant think of a way to describe it) and i was actually 6+5 and she saw everything clearly.
So it depends on how full your bladder is and where the baby is posistioned and the hospitals own personal preferance.

stef i was on my own when my youngest now 12 and half was 4 , then met this great bloke 5 years ago , we were having no more children as we have 5 between us , but a little accident happened and now , we start all over again , i am scared but excitied at same point , my 3 elder ones are really excitied too
Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec
  • They have asked for a full bladder, so I'm guessing they'll try the tummy first - don't fancy the alternative

  • does anyone have any advice on not feeling like complete rubbish?

im 16 + 4 ( i think ) and I just feel so rotten. Part of me feels like im going to throw up, im really tired, my nose is really blocked (dry blocked) and im just in a foul mood with the whole thing.
I feel like my baby hates me.

Husband isnt a great deal of support and we had a huge row earlier.
I just dont want to feel like this anymore. My mouth feels horrid no matter how many times i brush my teeth, theyre like all furry.....and when i do brush my teeth my gums bleed so much.... and to top it all off ive got what i think is toothache from my wisdom tooth coming through...

    I just want to cry....
    :p Baby Buble due June 2010 :p
