Just had a good cry and felt a bit better until i just replied to my post again
Crying again now
The dog has gone to another friend but she can only have him until boxing day and he will be back here again.
Picking up a babygate tomorrow so i can keep him seperate from the kids and someone has suggested a greyhound muzzle that enables them to still eat, drink but not bite while wearing it so trying to find something along those lines that would fit himAt least then we can keep him here until we can find a proper home for him
Im completley gutted thoughEven DD1 sobbed her heart out when he was going she was cuddling him and everything
Waiting for emergency doctors to call back coz DD2 is really wheezy think its going to mean a trip up to the hospital so that she can go on the nebuliser again
One thing after another today really hoping bubs stays put right now0 -
Have some temporary stay put vibes for baby

Aaaarg, just typed a massive post and lost it all!!!

JHA- Hope u r ok, take care and let ur OH spoil u til bubs comes!
PP- sorry about the dog, no advice but glad your dd is ok
Kindof- hope u feel better soon, get plenty of rest
Had an appt today at the hosp which is all ok, had a bit of a turn and was nearky sick during my scan through laying on my back for too long, then proceeded to cry for most of the morning, think I'm still feeling sorry for myself.
Also, I'm afraid I will be queue jumping, I'm booked in for induction for the 8th Jan (37 weeks) as my waters are still leaking. Last scan will be next Wed then just blood tests and monitoring until D day! A bit shocked but excited and pleased that I will not be wasting too much maternity leave sitting home feeling sorry for myself without a baby!
Should have had a HDNL delivery today but still no sign of it, according to the website it is on a van, does anyone know how late they deliver to?
Am knackered, might go to bed early with a box of choc fingers and Indiana Jones!

Evening everyone.
PP - I'm so sorry, that sounds like a really awful position to be in.
EA - I know what you mean about your OH and the card. I've been shopping today and bought a body lotion set (for me) and I've just given it to DH to be 'my present from DD' as I know he won't have done anything - all he said was 'thanks'. Grrrr! I wouldn't have bothered, but I know she'll be upset on the day if she's got a present to give to him and nothing for me.Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Exactly, last year he wrote me a letter detailing how much he loved me. And he asked if he could do it again this year.
I said no cause i still have last years letter lol.
Also, i've chosen 2 of my gifts and i even bought one of them! lol
He says im hard to buy for though, so i forgive him cause its true haha x0 -
PP - I just wanted to sympathise with you about your dog. DH and I were in this position earlier this year and it is gutwrenching. From what you've said in your posts it doesn't sound like a hopeless case though. You may well find that perhaps an older couple without children may be just right to take the dog on. Often dogs (and I generalise) in particular smaller dogs can feel the need to assert their authority over children, whereas if he was placed in a more rigid adult home this may not be a problem. Unfortunately, our dog had extremely dominant and increasingly aggressive behaviour where food was concerned and in the end had to be put to sleep. From what you've described, your case doesn't sound as hopeless, although I completely understand that you can't risk the dog being around the children. Had we had children at the time, we wouldn't have been able to work for as long as we did trying to correct our dogs behaviour. Also, don't feel too bad about putting him in a shelter, should you need to. They really do get well taken care of and they make really sure that they go to the right homes. Both our previous dog and our current dog (who's an absolute angel) came from the RSPCA and both were fine in the shelter and we had to jump through hoops to prove we were good to take care of them.
Sorry that turned into an essay but if you want to pick the brains of someone who's been in that situation I'm here!

Sorry about your dog PP must be awful we had to rehome our dog when i was carrying my daughter he was a soft as a brush but at the time we lived in a 1 bedroom flat and two adults, 1 baby and very large german shephard were not going to fit. We did manage to find him a lovely farm to live on. Hugs xx:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0
