  • Hi Girls,

I am in complete shock and never thought I would be posting here. I have followed the TTC and Pregnancy threads for so long. We have been trying for 18 months+ and finally got our BFP this morning.

I tested 3 days early as we have a doctors appointment tomorrow to discuss things and just wanted to make sure. I never believed that I could actually be pregnant.

I am very worried though as I have persistent cramping just like I get every month before my period and I don't "feel" pregnant. Can anyone reassure me

    Thanks
  • can i join you all as well? got my positive test on the weekend. early days yet. due around end aug i'd say. have a 2 and half year old girl already. only been trying 3 months! and OMG my nipples are killing me!!!!!1

CAFCgirl - I was worried about the cost of stuff too, and we both work so you have my sympathy. Have you had a look on freecycle or freegle as its now sometimes called. Because we were trying so long to concieve and were so determined I actually started buying stuff before I even concieved which was a help. Try asking friends and family and ask them to ask thier friends/relatives too if they have anything they no longer need. We have been given bags of lovely clothes, a bottle warmer, bath and toys non of them directly from our own freinds or family tho as no one has recently had children. Def keep an eye out on ebay too, you could try reading this (if you scroll down you can read the book free). Oh and we saved all our tesco's/sainsburys/boots points and used them to get stuff too.

Kindof - My lil one would only be 18 months by the time no 2 arrived so you would only be 6 months behind if you want company for elliot before he is 2. Oh and nice bump hehe xx

gill - think I was about 23 weeks before I got past my initial tiredness, is it rude if I ask how old you are? Am sorry your finding the whole pg so rough, for my even the not so nice bits are worth it after 6 years, think thats why I want next one to come along so fast.

Right just cooked dinner, gammon and eggs nom, OH inspected my rubber eggs before I was allowed to eat lol, he knows I like 'em runny normally and doesnt trust me to cook them thru while am pg. Followed up with Millionaire shortbread nom nom hehe. Gonna tackle Tesco in a bit (furr ball needs food), hoping it'll be a bit quieter in the evening not to mention the traffic was mental earlier.

Evening all! Wow, welcome to all the newbies - quite an influx lately!

Beenie, I'm going to miss you on here - it's already quiet without you! :p hopefully my days are numbered as well...I mean that in the nicest possible way of course (as I will always pop on frequently to check on those behind me :D)

Well DH had to abandon the car halfway home this evening due to snow . If anything will test sod's law, this is it! Been feeling really crampy all arvo, but prolly just wishful thinking. We've devised an emergency plan JUST IN CASE anything goes down tonight, so I'm totally torn in 2 about what I want to happen :p.
