I'm still a bit in shock I think!

    Hello ladies.

I've been on the trying to conceive thread for the last few months, and yesterday I got a very faint + line on my preg test, tested again earlier and another line, a bit darker this time, so looks like I'm preg! :j

It is very very early though. Tested with a First Response test. AF is due around Xmas/Boxing Day, so still a way to go, but thought if its ok I'd like to join this thread too.

Never been preg before so dont know what to expect/how I'm going to feel, but at 36 I was worried that I may have left it too late!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!! sending you some super sticky baby dust.

Me and Sis snuck in some drinks, sweets, crisps and a sandwich and 2 steak slices :rotfl:
And we pretended we were teenagers to get the cheap ticket price! :money::money: Even though i dont look like a teen and im clearly quite pregnant :p

Then we went to PO to post JHA's SS :D
    Funny convo in there-
Man at PO Door - Hi, welcome to PO. What are you here for?
Me - Umm to post a package
Man - Do you have package with you?
    Me- ....................yes...........:rotfl::rotfl:

Then went to wilko and got a paint your own mug so i can paint it for OH and fill it with sweets and a massive photoframe i going to fill with pics for OH to :D

Then on the way home the bus i was on nearly crashed as a dog ran out in front of it, then the bus ran over the dog with both its front wheel and back wheel and had to stop so the driver could go back to check what it had hit :eek:

    Congrats to Metranil Vavin:j

And Kindof - Lovely bump! I need to do a 29 weeks one at some point :o

    OH MY GOD BEENIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    CONGRATULATIONS!

What an amazing xmas pressie xx
I was thinking of you earlier when we were in mothercare at teeside and i wondered if you'd given birth yet since i hadnt read through the posts.... sounds like she was just having her first big fart in the world when i had that thought!

Love to you and little one....

Are we offering name suggestions? Im thinking Xmas theme :) How about Holly, Ivy or Beth (as in LeHem) Only joking....
    Cant wait for a piccie.....

On total side note relating to travel systems (yes i know again), well its not really about travel systems, its about money..... Does anyone else have a total freak out about how they can afford any of the things you need?

I know about ebay and car boots etc, and Im very lucky to have a Nan working in a charity shop who just gets charged per bag...... but its just making my head hurt, and I really need a plan of how Im going to afford things, even on ebay etc. Im not working, neither is DH right now although hes very active in looking, but im just feeling the pinch.......
