How strange i just asked for some baby clothes off freecycle and it turns out the woman who has them used to live in my house :rotfl:

She is dropping them off tomorrow for me and she also has a blue and white cot bumper and quilt for me and some clothes for DD2 :D

I am wondering about cot bumpers - i baught a few off ebay peter rabbit ones for cot and crib but one of the nhs info books says not to use them due to the ties and blocking air circulation - but it would be a bit drafty for bubs without one surley:confused: I suppose its the same as this wean them and 4 mths then changing it to 6 mths rule - just do what you think is best and tell the hv what they want to hear:confused:

Also does anyone know what the following are called - they are like really long socks that go up to thigh but not tights for baby girls? - would be useful for me as i dont fancy juggling a terry towelling nappy newborn and tights:rotfl:- they were selling them in asda but i can only see tights now. I dont want orit to have bare legs (cold) when oh dresses her in her completly impractical but lovely dress he got her

    yay for boiler EA

Loving the snow, it has kindly hidden all the dog poo in the garden.

My poor pooch seems a bit out of sorts and i keep finding specks of blood so she must have come 'on'. Well i'm hoping it's that and nothing more sinister anyway

Oh my neighbours have a sense of humour i see, and psychic at that. They must be throwing their pans at the wall again, maybe they're greek or something.
  • Hey all,
Well today has been one long day of naps and knitting. I have done absolutely nothing and I loved every minute of it, don't you just love stupidly lazy days lol.
I have actually turned my heating on today(1/2 hour) for the first time this year!!! I was begining to get a touch of damp inside the windows and I have a load of washing air drying so it needed doing. Pretty MSE I think.
