That's a bit worrying about Som - hope she's ok.

I phoned my boss about not going in tomorrow and left a message as she didn't answer (phew!)

She text me a bit later saying not to worry and that she's covered my shop for both tomorrow and Sat - no arguments! Was going to say I'd go in Sat but it feels like such a relief not to that I think I'll do what I'm told this time :)

  • Hey ladies and bumps, hope you're all ok. I don't post much but keep up as much as I can - never seem to have anything interesting to add though :o.

Congrats to the latest births - loving the pictures! - and labour vibes to Beenie and anyone else that wants them...

Am I the only one on here that has had absolutely no baby experience whatsoever? People keep telling me it'll all come naturally but I've never even held a baby before .

I keep thinking I'm gonna be a rubbish mum, bit late to start thinking this - 9th on the list now!!!!

    Take care everyone xx

Lots of love to Som, hope you & bump are well, up & out tomorrow xxx

Albionsarah, don't worry, I'm sure it'll come naturally :) Or that's what I keep telling myself anyway!!

PP get your midwife told, if they said all looks ok fluid wise then they've no excuse.

Yay for the Saturday sweep Beenie! Hope you don't need it though :)

Glad you've got a couple of days off sorted Gill, hope you can relax & feel better, xx

Regret moaning about snow now - just dropped OH off at his work do & it was chucking it down with snow, could barely see a thing! Joy of joys, get to go back later to pick him up! Slightly pee'd off this eve - I was meant to be going to York for the day on Sunday with some friends, but felt it was unrealistic given that my pelvis feels like it's going to split in two, though I can walk a bit I can't really walk around for a whole day. Well, just had an arsey text from a 'friend' saying how train tickets were expensive, no money with it being Xmas etc, basically a dig at me for not going because I would've driven everyone. I felt like replying saying yes, having a licence, owning a car, putting petrol in, insuring it and taxing it is expensive, that's bloody life. I think some of my 'friends' are a bit resentful that my life's changing, I think they'll all be living at home with their parents til they're 50!

  • Gymfiend, my friends when I had my first at a youngish age were a little resentful......I was of them too tho, one friend stuck by me....and has done since we were little:D She is having massive fertility problems....and I dreaded telling her i was pregnant again....but she guessed and told me off....she is gonna be this little ones godmother!! I was used.....when I was pregnant as I obviously couldnt drink and it was my friend who put a stop to it...I was invited here there and everywhere and expected to drive....(i really didnt mind, but when they started saying oh I dont have any money, could you just drive and I will do it nest time was when my friend just said this is the last time.....im sick of you all taking advantage) I never see them now....I think im better of for it too:D

Bubs foot seems to be pushing up on my ribs and its kindof sore to take a deep breath.....EA we had spag bol tonight also.....and I usually love it but recently I have felt sick after eating it.....I dont look forward to it as much anymore:(

TMI moment.......I sneezed, and leaked today......mortified!! gonna have to cross thee legs in future:( The joys of the 3rd trimester:) and having a clatter of youngsters:rotfl:

    Hello Everyone.

    Am now 23 weeks! Yeah!

But am abso knackered today, been doing alot of housework and hurt my back. Trying to do a major clean up before january. Hubby is due to go away for up to 2 months on a course, not happy about that, but nothing I can do. Then he is away in June for 4 months. Over the past couple of days I have realised I can't do as much as I used to befoe getting preggers! I have to sit down ever minutes while doing housework! I get soo out of breath, think my asthma has got slightly worse as I get bigger. Feeling a bit down today, not sure why. On a much brighter note hubby felt baby kick for the first time last night! He had a big smile on his face, I have felt baby kick since about 17 weeks, getting good big kicks now.
