!!!!!! scaryknickers i'd be bloody annoyed at that, if it got brought up at a performance review i'd turn the tables and say firstly it shows my dedication to return to my post as soon as possible. 2. it shows the lack of Team spirit if no one thought it appropriate to point it out to a PG colleague.

But then again i'm a bit nippy lol

Thanks girls for your support. I am bloody annoyed at her, but she is rather 'up' herself and is always out to score points against me for some reason:mad: She didn't even tell me I'd tucked my skirt in my knickers, but just called me a silly cow and laughed in the background (I didn't know she was referring to then mind); my colleague told me about my misfortune as I was walking to the bus. She thinks her !!!! doesn't stink when it certainly does...I'm so glad I'm getting out of there for now, and when I can go for a wee, as am bursting but really can't go!

morning all - am still here...

...although is waking up manically thinking about things at half 4 and feeling the need to get up and starting on housework a prelabour sign?! Please tell me yes! although am guessing little man's hiccups are not!

aless & pp - can relate to the watermelon! although it's amazing how quickly you get used to it.

    ea - lovely bump pic

karen - awwww, gorgeous pics! seeing those pics of Tegan makes me even more broody although I am panicking am going to be a hopeless unmaternal mother

my mum is flying in on saturday for the week which I am looking forward to - she can't stay much longer than a week as the rest of the family (my brother and 2 step brothers and their families) are going over there for Christmas, was meant to be a big family christmas but we won't be there, oops! hope little one arrives by Saturday as it'd be rotten for her if I am stuck in hospital while she is here.

can I have a family rant? well it's dp's family but it's been bugging me - his mum doesn't drive and there is an elderly aunt on the isle of wight who usually comes up for christmas but is very ill this year so won't be and his mum understandably wants to pop down one day next week with pressies. But this is the rant - dp always drives his mum down and across on the ferry, well occassionally she will get the train, but this year with little one on the way (my induction now booked for 14th) and fil being unsure on driving beyond locally for significant health reasons, I really do think his sister should do it and we do know that she is off work from 17th til the new year as she was gloating about this the other day but it seems no one will ask her to help just this once, there is obviously some family dynamic I've not picked up on (il's have never said directly she's selfish but it's been implied on more than one occasion) and yes she would have to come down from oxford to help out but it's one day. I was thinking I might ask her and offer her the petrol money but then don't want to cause a row.

christmas shopping today, might get the decs out too :)

    Morning ladies, bumps & gents,

Ahh Karen, Tegan is just beautiful :)

Congrats on team blue Redstar :j Any thoughts on names yet?

Can't believe how much some of you have paid for pics  Our letter said it was £3 but when we got there we were given loads for free

Always rant away - hope the manic cleaning is some late nesting in prep for baby to arrive today for you :D If it were me in that situation Always I'd ask the SIL myself (well, if I had the guts to :rotfl:), hardly fair for your OH to be going when either you're likely to go into labour/baby is newborn.

    Lovely bump pic EA :D

Grr Beenie what a t*sser, being foreign is no excuse I'm sure it's fairly obvious you're heavily pregnant!

Gill I got this cream - though I ordered online, couldn't find it instore, only a really expensive one  & I was too embarassed to ask where I might find others!!

I've got a Q on cord cutting - are any of your OHs going to do it? I asked OH & was admittedly a bit put out when he said no, he thinks it's gross. I thought it was quite a nice thing to do - but when I told this to my mum she was like yeah I totally agree, I wouldn't want to do it, is it just me being overly sensitive? :o

Went out with a friend yesterday afternoon for a nose around the shops & we were going to get sushi, but Yo Sushi shut at 6, I was devastated! Saw lots of lovely things that I now want for Christmas though :rotfl: Paperchase is so dangerous, why am I so taken in by all of their tat?!
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

    Morning ladies.

PP thinking about a spider in the bed would have freaked me out too!

GF my DH isn't cutting the cord, he just doesn't want to and doesn't see what the big thing with it is, and I'm not fussed about him doing it either really so MW will be doing it for us!

Always if it were me I'd make my DH ask his sister to do it and explain that he can't cos of baby.

So the last week or so I've been waking up in the night and in the morning all sweaty  I'm not too hot as the bedroom is quite cool but I'm sweating loads in bed. Is anyone else getting this or am I just gross?

My boss is such an idiot. He just tried to tell me that too much driving can cause a miscarriage. I think if that were the case someone might have mentioned that before. I know he's not a doctor but he is the H&S manager here so he really ought to know better!
