Hiya, I'm new here, but have been lurking for quite a while!
I'm 36 weeks pregnant and am finally finishing work this week for maternity leave (at long last!) but am moving house on Friday too to be with my boyfriend. This should have been exciting and made things easier when it comes to actually moving to the new place (on Saturday this week), but he's been asked to go on a compulsory course in Germany this week, and can't postpone it as it's essential he does it, however the problem is, is that we moved loads of my stuff down to his place a few weeks ago just to make things easier when we actually moved, with me thinking he could come and help me whenever I needed help in the run-up to that time, but now he's not here and I'm running out of clothes. My washing machine also packed up yesterday, so I am rather stuck to put it lightly! I work 50 hours a week at the moment as a receptionist, and my manager caught me in a rather embarrassing situation today, which has rather annoyed me as I have a progress meeting with her tomorrow...
Arrghhh!!! Help!!!!:eek::o

I forgot to say before my 4 year old daughter is toilet training (bloody awful!), and my Mum just rang me up and comes out with (after I was telling her about the washing machine saga): 'Just make sure the little one doesn't run out of drawers!' And what about me? I really, really don't get my mother at times...grr!
PS: Have been bursting for a wee for ages but can't go for some reason...0 -
Is anyone dreading going back to not being pregnant
I am obviously v. excited about meeting halfpint but i have had such better general health since being pregnant - i am dreading going back to normal.
do you find your heart is playing you up less ea?
Gorgeous photos karen
I've actually felt worse during pregnancy (cause of heartburn and tailbone pains etc), but as i've got further along i've been feeling alot less light headed and my heartbeat actually sounds normal now
Just had an hour long bathIt was lovely.
I was putting the warm water on my bump, and then blowing it so it went cold suddenly and she kept moving about lol. I even managed to get her to move to show OH!Was only a small movement, but he still saw something! lol
So far me and my sister were the only ones to see bump move :rotfl:
Tegan is beautiful!! She has lovely eyes!0 -
Quidco & ebay is currently 60% through the month of december
Which is lucky as FIL wants me to get him a £180 tattoo thing through my ebay account (he's putting money in my account) so i get the 60% cashback!0 -
FR, fernlie and jha thanks so much with the advice on birth plans. I'm looking to write mine sometime soon but as I will be at home will be pretty simple - so drugs (won;t have ordered any so won;t have the choice anyway!), natural third stage, DH isn't cutting cord but I want it to stop pulsing, I want vit K inj for baby and I want to be as active as possible.
Also lucky in that there will be MW with me the whole time for the later stages, but won;t be crowded by other people. My mum and sister have both said they'd like to be here but I've said no to them both as I feel it's a personal thing for me and DH. One will be on stand by though just in case DH isn't any good!!
Aw Beenie what a to55er parking so close to you! I would have been fuming too and would definitely had a go at him if he just walked away, probably along the lines of how would you like it if some guy parked so your wife couldn't get in the car (with a few expletives!)
Oooh EA lovely bump! Probably about time I did another really seeing as I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow
Aww Karen, Tegan is absolutely gorgeous!!! You must be so proud!
Damn! I bought some stuff off ebay and totally forgot to go through quidco. :mad:0
