Mermaid - I've just recently started to become breathless at about 21 weeks, noticed that when I went from downstairs up 2 flights to our loft, I was exhausted
I think your reaction is normal Kindof - at least, I react in the same way when I see anything scary birth relatedI console myself with the idea that so many women in third world countries do it without drugs & with little help, so it can't be that bad!
Sorry you had a bad night Elasti
Charliedavis - I shan't be showing OH that! He'd think all his christmases have come at once if I suggested anything of the sort :rotfl:
I just bought baby this - I love itHave just about got all the masking tape up on the wall to start painting now, nervous it's gonna turn out rubbish, fingers crossed it doesn't as OH will tell me it's my fault as he thinks it's too ambitious
Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
congratulations, fidget!
labour vibes to helen, lck, littlebit, karen & gisi! ooh and to 2 of my work colleagues 1 due tomorrow, the other on Saturday! Yes, we're having a bit of a baby boom in the office!
went to my first nct class today - only 3 couples including us but the lady is going to put us in touch with another group too. really bringing it home that it's getting close - in fact am sat on my gym ball as we speak! fairly convinced the little one might be engaging too as my bump seems a bit lower but maybe that's just my wishful thinking?!
stupid solicitors sent us completion statement but can't add up big time  and - surprise, surprise - aren't returning our calls or emails today and we need this info tomorrow early so can bacs completion money over for Friday so don't have to pay £25 chaps fee.
must get off and start fil's christmas pressie - we're doing a book of his dad's naval career as it was really interesting and we've loads of letters and photos and bits of paper floating around so I thought it'd be lovely to get his biography all typed up with all the documents in one of those photobook thingys. Thought this in about August and its now November and I've not started it :eek:0 -
Good luck Karen, get bouncing on a ball if you have one to encourage LO that down is the way to go:D
labour vibes to those that need them
baby due date
ds1 - 4 days overdue - 9lb 6oz
ds2 - 19 days early - 8lb 4oz
ds3 - 3 days overdue - 9lb 1oz
They really are all different, although I am hoping this one won't be any bigger than the rest...I am only 5ft 2in aswell so not exactly big!!!!
Kindof - try not to worry and don't listen to everyone's scare stories, I had loads told to me when it was my first time but with subsequent babies people tend not to tell you as they know that once you have been through it once you a) know that they are exaggerating and b) aren't phased by it anyway!
I feel so stuffed today, I had a pot noodle for breakfast and a ready meal curry for lunch haha, not exactly a healthy diet but.......

I have a question for you all you pregnant peeps lol
How do you feel sexy? it's just I know OH would love to dtd lol as would I but whenever I look in the mirror I dont feel particularly sexy, I mean I have a big belly (which OH loves btw, its just me that seems to have a slight problem with it lol) and stretch marks now
How am I supposed to make myself feel good/sexy to dtd?
I don't think i have ever felt sexy in myself, it's not something i have ever thought about really. But i am sure i have never said to my self your sexy even when i was a size 12 however many moons ago. I don't need to feel sexy to want to dtd it is more that i just need to dtd with hubby than me feeling sexy. It is harder ( no pun intended) when you are pg. My sex drive has almost gone. I would have got fruity at the weekend if i hadn't been in such a bad mood with DH and the fact it was so late and i was so tired.
My hubby loves my bump too and went nuts when i had a nice underwear set to product test. It was a sexy nursing set and he thought the pull down bit was much more for hubbys than babies.
So maybe treat yourself to a nice lingerie set have a bath together if you both can fit or shower together. You may not be make it out of the water before you dtd.
That reminds me DH said yesterday that we had better have another baby after this one as otherwise he won't ever dtd again. This is my signature!0 -
Well it just took me forever to catch up and now i'm so tired i cant remember what i wanted to say:mad:
Off to lay down for a while hopefully that will help! hugs and vibes to all in need. X[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Me and OH haven't really dtd loads since being pregnant. Maybe cause i forced it on him so much during the TTC period, but mainly cause as soon as i lay down i fall asleep pretty much:rotfl:
Damn Orange!! I just read that they haven't lowered the Iphone prices, guess im sticky to my scabby old ipod touch and having to get a different phone in Feb
Just cleaned the whole kitchen and conservtry. I even cleaned the litter tray cause OH is avoiding it, and the cat seems to be pooping moreand he smells. I did clean my hands with bleach afterwards though lol.
Going to make a start on my mums cake when OH gets home, i need to get some eggs from the shop and i dont want to get re dressed hehe.
Hahaha, i have this old pic of OH spraying squirty cream into his mouth, so i uploaded it to paint and drew a giant penis over the squirty cream bottle and put it on facebook. And it seems to of cheered a few people up:rotfl:
Im such a child at times hehehe x0 -
Ah but there is nothing worse than being told you are not allowed to DTD - makes you want to even moreMummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0
