great site SJ , LCK not been back on since this morning , lets hope shes with little one , huge labour vibes to you helen and all who needs it,

I did ask last night but no reponse , is there a group for use mse pg ladies on facebook ?

This is the group http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/group.php?gid=53767546531. You need to PM Sami_Bee (you'll find her on the parents club) to let her know your real name so she can approve you.

I'm watching A Baby Story while drinking my RLT....I think I've earned a rest though as I have done a ton of washing and dried most of it too.

Do they get an epidural pretty much as standard in the US? It seems like it on A Baby Story!

Thanks ladies. The srtawberry cupcake ones were actually my sister's wedding cake that i did!

And Karen if you are around I haven't forgotten about you ;)

GISI yes I was thinking that about epidural in the US. I haven't seen anything where a lady there has given birth without one. Maybe Aless can shed some light on it if she's around any time!

Shaving legs? How do you do that again?? lol

MGEB - when is your 12 week scan? are you still having one after the early scans that you've had?

Just when I'd made up my mind that I wasn't going to have the swine flu jab .......

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/manchester/8337980.stm

Confused again now. So sad for the poor lady's family. I can't figure out whether she had any underlying health problems tho....it was on the front page of the Manchester Evening News when I went to the Late Shop before.

  • Gill - Yep on the 16th, i'll be 13w then but they are still doing one. They want to check my ovary too as there was a cyst on it. Don't have any idea on that though

I think i'll be having it after all the who-har. I have had a good read up and it is like the normal flu jab from what i can gather, so basically putting a small amount of the virus in your system so your body can fight it. Generally with this way they can hardly get it wrong, not like when giving jabs for the MS back a few decade, that was basically sticking a concoction of something in your system to fight symptoms as MS is hardly a virus. I am still not certain but with all of the touristy things i'll have to take SIL to do over 7 weeks i'll be pretty exposed and in confined spaces alot, so i think i'd prefer take the jab than get caught with it and have to take tamiflu while preggers
