gill, I had a private early scan at 8 weeks. Can't remember the exact cost, but it was circa £100, I THINK. All I did was phone up the place and make an appointment...needed a Saturday so I did it a few weeks in advance to make sure I'd get a slot. Nothing to it!

Gill, I dont know if you have a babybond around there but they do early scans it tells you their site how much they are?

Ooh, do you know i mentioned about the letter my letting agents sent about telling us to get rid of our rubbish.
Well i put the rubbish out tuesday night ready for wednesday morning, and by Wednesday PM it still hadn't been taken, as i thought, so i left it to prove to my landlord that im not lying and they really aren't taking our rubbish :rotfl:
He owns the chemist below us and has to use our gate to get into the chemist private entrance :rolleyes:

gill i was thinking of having an early scan too, as just get silly worries about mc, but then i get all sensible head and think why worry! i feel so sick, bloated and my boobs hurt so much, i am quite sure everything is working! I will await peoples response though, and maybe next week i will ask my gp, as he has been amazing and seems to understand?

Well today i am sat at my desk, with my trousers undone as they are too tight, it is making me very uncomfortable, but i have nothing else to wear except jeans that are bigger! Also my OH said that maybe we should put elastic in my clothes so they fit for longer??!! lol

Thanks for all your comments on peeing, i am happy with the knowledge that it being the most obvious symptom being wrong

Right well tomorrow should be a quiet day in the office as the students are off on an industry visit, so comfy jeans Have fun ladies and i hope you are all ok?

Nikkit - going back to your earlier post, I'm pretty sure it's Sidekick that you're referring to.

EA - I'm also worried about MGEB, don't know if anyone has her on facebook or not tho, don't think she was here long enough.

Just rang the doctors again and got an INCREDIBLY helpful lady on admin - I didn't think they existed at drs surgerys!! She spent loads of time looking to see if quad test results were on my file anywhere, even though she didnt think they would be. She then rang reception for me to ask about swine flu jab where she got told that they can't book me in without my letter. She was really angry on my behalf and thinks I should phone up reception and kick up a fuss lol.

LL - sounds like you're going to need some bump bands soon! I've heard the elastic band also works good, too.

EA - I remember when I hit 100 days - it was scary. Now I'm at 30! :eek: the time really DOES fly, even when back in early 2nd trimester it felt like baby would never come.

I think the price of a early scan is so high! £100 is a lot of money!

Jeez! Mine was only £50 for the exact same thing, plus a cd of printed images and 2 videos :eek:

I had the early scan, and it made me worry more. I thought i was 8 weeks, which is considered a safe(ish) period. But the scan put me back to 6+4, and thats when i had a mc before. So i still paniced until the 12 week scan.

But you'l be fine! Especially with symptoms like that! lol.
The early scan was amazing though, even though mine looked nothing like a baby, just a smudge on the screen with a heartbeat :rotfl:

Kindof - Im booking my 4d scan on Saturday!! Well excited! lol.
