Posted 4 out of 7 items so far (cos no one else has paid) and i'm so sad i've been analysing it all on a spreadsheet, taking ebay/PP fees, how much i charged for p&p vs how much it cost etc etc :rotfl:

So far i'm 30p down, from underestimating postage on one item so not bad going, i usually cut myself about a fiver short over a few items :D

I included packaging too cos i had to buy some padded envelopes and bubble wrap, usually i pay for that separately and still manage to be out of pocket by loads :rotfl:

I'm amazed that i made £100 ish just by nabbing toys out of DS's room last week that he's never bothered with, not sure i've got much else worth selling though except some clothes my sister gave me but i hate hate hate hate hate hate listing clothes on ebay cos people are morons ("what is the sleeve length in mm please?" "how many stitches are in the left side of the hem 30cm across", "i'm 5'2" will these trousers fit me")
I soooo can't be bothered getting a tape measure out to measure every dimension of every item just to please the awkward morons. It's from a shop, it's a size 12 for gods sake - go try some clothes on in there or something lol!!!!

I had that with OH's military jacket. "Can i have the measurements to the exact mm please?" No, go away! lol.

Then when no-one bidded someone sent me a message asking to buy it for like £20, i was like "No it cost £120, and its pretty much new, is why i had a £50 reserve" lol.

I remember one thing i sold i advertised it as "Size 14, but im a 14 and it doesn't fit me, so its its probably a big 12 small 14"
And people wanted so much more detail and asked what i meant, excuse me, i explained what i meant in the ad, if i knew more i'd explain more! lol.

    :eek::eek::eek: Omg what a tail.

But the MSE'er in me couldn't help but be frankly disgusted at these bits:
Yet Sara, who has just run up a £5,000 bill buying her children's Christmas gifts at Toys R Us, claims they have to watch every penny.
"We were in the shop for hours. Stephen had to do several trips home to take back what we had bought. I had blisters afterwards."

Doh, heard of online shopping? Methinks she needs to know about Grabbuit :rotfl:
Each week the family forks out around £600 on groceries - including 32 loaves of bread, 75lb of potatoes and 126 pints of milk.
They also buy 36 rolls of toilet paper, three boxes of washing powder and eight boxes of cereal during their regular supermarket shop.

    Get over to OS!!

Lol exactly, i could understand all the questions if i'd wrote "will fit someone aged 32 with brown hair" and had hand stitched the garment myself but i bloody didn't :rotfl::rotfl:

Haha, do you read the ebay thread? Some of the posts are so funny.

Ages ago, someone posted that a lady bought her jeans from ebay and wanted a refund cause they weren't the shade of white she was looking for!:rolleyes:

That's madness!!! But I don't get how people can say she does it for the ££... surely she only gets an allowance for what they "need" for a family of that many? I get tax credits and they don't exactly make you well off... and I hate it when people think that makes you a tramp too!!

Just read the comments too... the guy who is just trying now at 39 and his wife 34 "as any younger is too early" !!!!!!??!!! I had dd at 18 and wouldn't change it for the world.. and if it was too young, why are we able to reproduce so young!!! I started my periods at 9 so technically could have got pg then. No offence to any of the older parents on here, but surely by leaving it that late they're risking infertility/needing help which may use taxpayers money too. grr things like that get me mad

Each to their own & all that but seriously, has she really called her kids Peppermint, Echo, Rogue, Frodo, Morpheus, Artemis, Blackbird, Baudelaire & Voorhees?? £4200 a month in benefits is pretty insane too, way more than the average person earns! & she houses them all in a 3 bed house, she must be mental!

Mr AB I know I shouldn't have to see her again but it worries me that I'll make a complaint and end up seeing her, will complain to my proper midwife nxt time & debate sending my complaint letter!
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j
