yuk! I'm feeling rubbish today, got a cold coming on, DD has had it for a week now as well as having all 4 of her canine teeth coming through, so she has been worse than a newborn, waking 3-4 times in the night! I am shattered and have a really bad headache! Argh! Moan moan moan! Sorry! I also made a silly mistake and watched a baby Peter tribute video someone had posted on facebook, and I was in floods for about an hour, and I still feel shaken up. I can't think about things like that at the minute I am so sensitive! :(

On a more positive note, I will be 10 weeks tomorrow, so 1/4 of the way through! Sounds like it is flying by! Eeek! :D

Hope everyone has had a yummy lazy sunday, vibes of all kinds to those that need them! And now I am going to try to get some sleep, nighty night!
  • Kindof your nursery furniture is beautiful - really lovely warm homely looking room!! :j

    Hope you are ok Beenie!!

BTW, one of the freebie thermometers I have is a Hipp Organic one, so I assume I must have got it for signing up to their website. Just in case you (or anyone else) still needs one. It does the job and is as accurate as the other ones I have in the house as I have checked (I have 2 freebies, a Grobag Egg, 2 digital clock things which tell temperature, and a couple of fridge magnet thermometers hehe!). Let me know if you want me to post you a freebie (you are not having my Egg, sorry!). xx

  • Morning!

Beenie - thanks for that - I think! Over the years various girlfriends have taken great pleasure in telling me their horror stories, my friends just love to share! Have already instructed OH that if I poo in labour he is NEVER to tell me (or anyone else for that matter) about it

kindof - your nursery looks lovely :D. And you have toys! I haven't even thought about toys :o

Fishcake - I got a V shaped pillow from Dunelm Mill, £6.99, pillow case £2.99 :money: They do a memory foam version but I think it was £29.99. Will be good for BF in bed later on too :D Only problem is OH loves it and keeps stealing it!

As me and OH sleep in the nuddy and I sleep snuggled against his back we have found ourselves quite painfully stuck together some mornings  - :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Money - hope you're feeling better. If you're at all worried, call NHS direct. Also, babycentre.co.uk is really good as you can go to the birth club for the month you're due and find out if other women at your stage are experiencing the same things. It sounds normal but trust your instincts.
  • Gymfiend - I got the snowsuit through the post on monday and it's absolutely gorgeous :) Thanks for that!

Gonna attempt to decorate my house today. Already have the tree up (not decorated though) and am excited about putting up lots of tinsel and wrapping up ds's christmas pressies. I may even put up a train track under the tree if ds doesn't attempt to destroy it.

Kindof the nursery looks lovely :) Well done! & the furniture looks really nice in there, way nicer than it looks in the shop :D

Beenie good luck with the papering! & the dog poo  not envious of that task!

Money hope you're feeling better this morning, I remember having some pretty intense cramps right at the start, thought it was AF arriving but it wasn't, went on for a couple of weeks too from memory. Like everyone else has said though, pop into the docs if you're not sure :)

Ahh GISI just read your birth story, so glad you came out of it positively even though it wasn't what you'd planned, I hope I have your attitude when the time comes :)

Well I'm up early to get things sorted then head to the midwife, can't believe it's been 9 weeks since I saw her, where does time go?! Feeling good this morning, wearing a maternity top from ASOS that doesn't need pulling down every 5 minutes, wish I'd been converted to maternity wear sooner :o Baby has been making me laugh this morning too, I was messing about rolling over on the bed & he seems to try to turn with me, as his punchs & kicks move around my tummy, am I cruel? :rotfl:
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j
